Me and a couple buddies went to the gun show yesterday. Pretty big for this neck of the woods. Believe it or not there were a few deals to be had. You gotta be careful though, lot's of the "dealers" or "private collectors" will try to screw you. Always check the merch the best you can. Also, some of them must have thought we were cute, they kept trying to "bend us over". Oh well. The pork burgers were good and the pepsi was cold. Your best bet for a deal at these shows are people walking in to sell. Get em before the "dealers" do. It's always best to price check walmart. Sometimes they're 75% or so cheaper. And they're ammo hasn't been in a moist basement for several months or years. Always fun to walk around and look, but wear boots, the poop gets deep.

The road leading into the center, as well as the parking are inadequate and not at all set up to accommodate large crowds at this time. Give yourself lots of time to be stuck in traffic once within 2 blocks of the place- with only one entrance in and out of general parking. Bathrooms are small for large crowds and not well lit. Very limited sinks and hand dryers. Vending is SLOW with horrible place for lines of people standing interrupting flow. Seating is not labeled and hard to locate. Arenas are small and smelled horribly of horse urine way into the seating. Some corner/bend sections are ridiculous to maneuver through already seated patrons (section 11 example). Not a good first impression. Hope they are still renovating because PBR events will not be easy here
I didn't view the horse stall area, but I can't imagine showing all weekend without camping, showers, or more than two horse wash racks.

We went to the Equestrian show and while we had little trouble getting into the facility to park, traffic was at a standstill when attempting to leave. Need more ways to enter/exit parking lot. That issue would definitely discourage me from returning for large events. On a positive note, the Equestrian show was really good, my daughter loved it! Concession lines were really long however.

Attended the horse show. Extremely disappointed in the parking at this facility. Was informed that no more parking was available by a police officer at the entrance. Asked about handicap parking (daughter on oxygen, grandmother has heart issues and frequent falls, and I also have mobility issues) was informed that no more parking was available handicap parking ran out. Had to park at the flea market (about 0.5 miles away) on uneven ground with people visibly slipping while walking to the shuttle area. On the shuttle to the MEC, saw that the same police officer was allowing people to park in the MEC parking lot. Once inside, tickets were scanned once, but still had to be shown to more staff. Also the women’s restroom did not have trash cans in the stalls for disposal of feminine care products. Would not recommend this facility to anyone!

We went for the “Christmas Market” to support a local vendor that we appreciate. Not only were we charged $5 to park but $7 to get in. The event center not only charged the vendors a premium they charged the public as well. I won’t attend another event there. There are many more in the area that are larger and free

The facility is fine but I would not recommend it for camping. It is overpriced and they have no showers or camping area. You plug into the barn and that is as good as it gets. Until they add showers, I will stay at one of the camping facilities in the area which are all very close to the center
