My son and I first visited this office in June 2017 in order to meet the doctor who would be extracting two of his wisdom teeth. Since my son was covered by two insurances, the dental office advised me to have a predetermination of benefits, which I had and it came out to be an allowable amount of $978, and we scheduled for the extraction to occur in December 2017. Six months later, precisely two days prior to the scheduled date of the surgery, I called the office to confirm the appointment and they requested me to pay $1050 upfront. I asked them about the predetermination of benefits approval and they ignored me by continuing to insist that I pay $1050 upfront. When I questioned the amount based on my predetermination of benefits approval, they agreed to lower the cost to $978.
The very next day, I went to the office and paid $978. Within 30 minutes of my payment, Maria, the office manager, called me and basically said that I may not get any refund, in spite of the fact that I had a predetermination approval. Long story short, Maria insisted that I cancel the appointment and find another doctor. I requested to talk to Dr. Michael Harris and was not able to since he "WAS NOT AVAILABLE." At that point, I decided that I was not going to deal with this and contacted Dr. Haik, my son's dentist. Dr. Haik gave me Dr. Bland's office number, another oral maxillo-facial surgeon who was able to give my son an appointment and surgery on the same day - NO INITIAL VISIT AND SAME DAY SURGERY. Dr. Bland even agreed to pull all four of my son's wisdom teeth in contrast to Dr. Harris who insisted on two separate visits for the same surgery and on only taking two of my son's wisdom teeth.
From my experience, Dr. Harris' office is GREEDY, lacking in customer service, ARROGANT by insisting my son to find another doctor, and UNPROFESSIONAL by not willing to fulfill a surgery that was scheduled six months earlier. However, I want to applaud Dr. Haik and Dr. Bland who were both able to help me in this unpleasant experience and schedule an immediate appointment to extract my son's wisdom teeth.response / report this review -

I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed. The surgery went well, as well as the recovery. He called to check up on my recovery a few days after surgery, which was nice. Excellent overall.

I recently had a very painful tooth extracted at Dr. Michael S. Harris's Office in Wellington. This office is great, clean and caring. Dr. Michael Harris and his staff easily made this the best experience I've ever had. I high recommend him for all your Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery needs.

Dr. Harris did the extraction of my wisdom teeth and was completely amazing!!!! All of the staff were very attentive and made sure I was good-
Absolutely no swelling and I just iced for the first night Barely any pain, didn’t even have to touch my narcotics (which I was greatful), ibprophen took care of and aches!

Dr. Harris and his associates did an amazing job removing my four wisdom teeth. Everyone in the office were very kind and helpful. It was quick and easy, Dr. Harris made sure I wasn't feeling any pain durring and after the surgery. I would recommend Dr. Harris to everyone, it was a wonderful experience.

Dr. Harris and staff are all highly skilled and professional, but most importantly they put the greatest effort into personal patient care. He called the very next day to check on me and was available for multiple checkups after when I needed it. Endless kindness and personal concern from the ladies at the front desk make it a comforting experience for what is usually a scary endeavour.

I had a difficult wisdom tooth pulled and as gruesome as that process was, (I was in pain) he and his staff made the experience the best it could be! Definitely a top-notch oral surgeon. My daughter had 2 of her wisdom teeth pulled on a Friday and he called on Sunday afternoon to check up on her! I highly recommend Dr. Harris.

Dr. Harris and his staff are exceptional and my experience with them was excellent! They are kind, considerate and welcoming every time I see them! I had four wisdom teeth removed recently in their office and they helped me with everything I needed, always ensuring I was comfortable and never left with questions unanswered. I had very minimal bruising and swelling, and the recovery time was really quick! My experience was so great, I'd recommend Dr. Harris and his staff over any other oral surgeon in Palm Beach!

Dr. Harris is a highly experienced oral surgeon who made me feel comfortable and certain that I was making the right decision about my oral health. Dr. Harris wants to make sure a patient understands all of the ins and outs of an operation. After my consultation, I felt confident that I was making the right decision about getting a simple surgical procedure done. And for the surgery itself, Dr. Harris and his team made sure I was extremely well taken care of. Post-op, I remember Dr. Harris called me personally from his cell phone to make sure I was doing ok - on a Saturday!
As for the administration, Abby and Lynda are courteous and do everything they can to attend to you as quickly as possible when you come in.response / report this review -

Dr. Harris is amazing! I recently had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by him, and the entire process was nothing but smooth. Leading up to the surgery, he took a great deal of time explaining the extraction so I was informed, and called afterward to check up on me. His staff even squeezed me into their schedule last minute so I had enough time to recover before going to college. The office itself is super accessible and everyone is friendly. I had an excellent experience, and would recommend him to anyone!
