If you ever get the chance to play you're in for a treat. 27 hole layout that challenges you on every shot. You'll also be treated like royalty by the staff.

I recently joined this club and I must say after playing 27 holes my first day as a member I was overwhelmed by just how great this course is! We played in 100 degree heat and I wanted to keep playing. When we where finished we had a good meal which in my experience is great for a country club. (Don't expect Per Se or Alain Ducasse but very good for a golf club).
I can't imagine how I would ever get tired of playing this golf course as it is a fine example of a Robert Trent Jones masterpiece! I would put Metedeconk right up there with hollowed Pine Valley and Augusta. I personally believe that the only reason it is not ranked higher nationally is due to its difficulty, location and age at just over 25 years old this course is still fairly new versus many staples in NJ. Most similar to Pine Valley if there was more room for a gallery this course may have already hosted a major! There are also nice spacious "cottages" (which resemble medium sized homes) available to members and guests of members equipped with putting greens in the backyard! I am told there is also a clay range but I have not had the opportunity to try that out, I plan to during the colder months when available. Finally, there is a helipad available for those flying in from NYC and Philadelphia. From the Valet to the attendent cleaning and storing your clubs after play there was no stone unturned in making this club a top rate first tier experience! I almost forgot the practice area is unreal easily the best I have ever seen it is so large Metedeconk could have built a short iron course on the same spot like Hamilton did instead they built a top shelf practice area that can allow the member to work on every aspect of their game! Like I said no stone unturned at this place. Also as a member of my former club often clients would pass on taking the long drive from NYC. However after letting those same clients know that I have joined Metedeconk and extending an invite to play those same people said they would be happy to travel 20 miles further south to come play Metedeconk with me! Some even offering to fly me to the club on their helicopter! For me that is a great opportunity to give back to my clients that give so much to my firm! I could not be happier with my decision to join this club! Metedeconk is perfect amazing staff, great membership, a breathtaking golf course and great country club food I may have finally found an excuse to retire solely for the opportunity to play more golf at Metedeconk.

A beautiful golf club with 27 holes of very challenging golf. Some of the most difficult greens anywhere. Built through some gorgeous property in southern NJ, if you ever are asked to play say YES!
