Very beautiful scenery. Easy to get to the top. It is a lot of up hill walking and climbing up rocks.

This place is the reason I love nature. So BEAUTIFUL. amazing views. 360 panoramic views. The hike is easy to strenuous depending on the trail that you take, but it only takes 20 minutes to get to the top either way. Usually during the week you won't run into anyone up there, but weekends are more crowded. My favorite place to go hiking near me. I tell everyone about Mendota. I love it so much. One disclaimer is if you drive a lowered car you may want to consider taking a different car. It's not terrible, but the road is not as well maintained as it has been in the last 5 years. If you are down for a road trip, you can go down the other side of the mountain and travel through Nickelsville. It is a beautiful area. There is also a great little restaurant in the town called Teddy's. Definitely worth a stop.

It's a great hike up to the tower and the view is amazing. Great place to fly drones and get beautiful pictures and video. Hiking boots or otherwise we'll treaded shoes recommended

One disclaimer is if you drive a lowered car you may have some difficulty toward the top of the mountain as you approach the parking. As long as you are at a decent ride height, you should make it no problem.

Nice short but slightly strenuous hike. Well worth it for the view. Disappointing about all the graffiti on the rocks.

Was a perfect day. The whole family spent most of the day. Breathtaking view. Sadly we had to see so much smoke from all the fires. I would recommend the trip to anyone who can traverse moderate to heavy terrain. Take a snack, camera, drinks and enjoy.
