Heard great things from doctors that did their training there - and also that the hospital is closing - wishing it a good farewell.

The Family Care Center at Memorial Hospital provides a vital service to the community and does so with professionalism and grace. I would not hesitate to send any member of my family to see their primary care doctors. Cannot recommend them enough

Wonderful place! Visited their travel clinic prior to going abroad. Took the best care of me and made sure I got all the meds I needed! Everyone was super nice and very helpful.

It was a true honor and pleasure to complete my family medicine training at this hospital. I thankful for everything this place taught me and I will be forever indebted to this hospital.

I love this hospital. Doctors and staff treat me with kindness and take the time to explain things to me. Hospital personnel are nice and always greet you with a smile. ER staff and ambulance personnel are kind and efficient. Kudos to the 5th floor staff on the Hodgson building for being good to me. The food is delicious and kitchen personnel is very good. Thank you.

This place is ok..... Though... on Diagnosis they do need to listen more to their Patients.

Have to check in through Admitting just to get an x-ray. Then no one shares the x-rays with us. Old run-down and dirty facility. And no wifi....really?

In one phone call, they lost my business forever. I call to ask if they take my ins and I was transferred 3 times without being told why. They way the responded like O was bothering them? How do you get all 3 rude people on the phone? Decided to hang up.

I have had very good experiences here. Staff has been good and professional both of the times I interacted with them. They take the time to explain things to me: both doctors and nurses. Rooms are very comfortable on the 5th floor and nobody bothers you at night. Food is delicious and kitchen personnel is kind and helpful. Thanks.

Horrible Horrible Place! They yelled out my personal info. in front of the whole emergency room. Hippa law they clearly didn't have training in. These docs come out of a cracker jack box!! Read BBB reviews, consumer affairs. They have like a 2 star rating. RUDE RUDE STAFF.

I utilize team b and team c....wonderful staff....trying to call on the phone is crazy on hold times are ridiculously long....a recent inpatient admission through the ER....hospital looks dingy and poorly kept...staff on all appearances does not look happy or satisfied in their jobs....translates in attitude towards patients....I'm happy with the doctor I have just don't like the fact that they are residents that usually leave when they graduate,....

I've always had very good care at Memorial Hospital of Rhode Island, especially in the Endocrinology Dept.

My wife had the most terrifying experience with a group of doctors, that came after my wife had some reaction to the amnesia after total knee replacement surgery. They appear to the emergency code and basically went to my wife face. she was shaking and could not speak for several minutes. one of the doctors asked her if she take Xanax, she started to feel better and responded with the word '"No". My wife started to tell them to make a distance front her because all the commotion started to feel very uncomfortable. One of the doctors from the emergency staff basically started to laugh and commented to the other doctors, '' Do you see that when I asked her about the Xanax, she started to speak'' This group of doctors never asked for her medical records, the reason for why my wife was in the hospital. Their behavior was so unprofessional, that I was appalled when my wife told me about this incident.

The nurses were wonderful and some of the members of the hospital staff. The lady that is responsible for the patients dietary needs was excellent. Not everything is negative!, we hope that this doctor could respect his responsibility toward the patients of this hospital and his moral ethics for human life. My wife never report this terrible incident to the Memorial Hospital management .

All the people, from the secretaries to the doctors do NOT know what they are doing, its embarrassing. HIPPA violations left and right, cant wait to report what I've heard being yelled in hallways. Mocking patients, absurd waiting times. Blood stains on exam tables. Secretaries being bitchy and not wanting to make you an appointment, just get you out the door. BF had a burst appendix because these people said he was 'fine', sent him home. Gosh, they should close this place. Absolutely horrible.

Brought my fiance to the ER here last night (doors were locked and we had to be let in by janitorial staff) once we finally found a nurse to help us navigate dark corridors we got into a bed but waited 3 hours before seeing the doc. They suspected appendicitis but we went home and were told to go back if pain worsened. Well this morning he went back and has been there literally ALL DAY. Docs finally decided to do a CT scan but wouldn't ya know the machine apparently broke... So he's been sitting there with an emergent medical issue that could potentially become fatal if the appendix ruptures just waiting for a scan... I'm not even sure at this point if I want him to even have the surgery here... I would feel MUCH better if he were transferred elsewhere for surgery where staff and equipment is better....
