Small friendly airport. I will always fly into here over Orlando. I really like the quick efficient service barely any wait time to check bags.
Where do I start? The airport is really small. They took away the greyhound bus. The public transportation stops at 8 A.M on week days and stops at 5 A.M on Saturdays, and don't run on Sundays. Not enough airlines. And last but not least, poor service.
TSA is very slow at this teeny airport. The women TSA agents especially are very rude. I'm a frequent flyer, gold on Delta and platinum on American and haven't seen TSA agents anywhere else as rude.
The airport is fine, but stay away from the nasty Nigerian taxi driver! Scumbag charged me $30 to go four miles and was rude when I questioned him. I felt like I was in a cab in New York City the way he acted.
The TSA stole my unfilled cigar lighters ($200 worth) out of checked luggage. I was patted down and x-rayed at the gate prior to boarding because my 2-year old was getting impatient. They opened and examined every single bag of our family suitcases and left a happy note that they'd gone thru "advanced screening". We do not fit the terrorist profile and I was somewhat concerned that such attention was paid to an average American traveling family from a po-dunk airport that wants to be Orlando but IS NOT! Barney Fife.
This is a small airport easily accessible form Melbourne. No lines, easy check in, even the airport food is not that bad. If you have a chance to fly out of MLB instead of MCO, go for it.
Small regional airport with amenities to match. This airport is only a good option if you're ok with non-direct flights and limited options for your wait.
So much calmer than Orlando. Worth a layover for the smooth checkin and ambiance.
Sometimes it is cheaper to fly out of here than Orlando. ALWAYS easier.
what's the point of registering phone and email with American Airlines alerts notification only to show up and be surprised with an hour and a half departure delay, fail
Excellent airport, efficient and friendly TSA staff. Great terminal with lots of displays highlighting the communities economic development activities.
The long airport name is misleading as it's not in Orlando. It is so much quieter and more convenient than MCO Orlando Airport. There is not much food but the little cafe is ok for breakfast.
Was good, but I saw some weird stuff.
There was a girl who appeared to be an escaped prison convict turning herself into string, and she was fighting a priest with a green infant. For some reason gravity changed while I was there, and the priest ended up killing the girl and her friends, aside from a kid who had some discs.
