I had a wonderful experience with Reggie Harlmon I chose to go back to Mel Hambelton to purchase a new car because of Reggie. He sold me my first car from here and he always called to check up on me and he was exactly as they claim there before, during and after. I will follow him should he ever leave and I'll buy my next car from him as well. He listened to my wants and needs and worked hard to find the perfect fit for me and my family. I've been to several other dealerships in the past and no one has ever come close to him!

Casey was my financial manager and he was great to work with. He got me what I needed and more with in a budget I was comfortable with. I was pleased with how fast he was able to get everything drawn up so we could get on the road. He was also prompt in answering those questions you should have asked but forgot to think of while in the office.

I cannot say enough good things about my experience here. My sales associate, Garrett Lamb, made me feel so welcome through every step. My wife and I have been searching for a new vehicle for her for quite some time and after today we have made our decision. Garrett really was the one who sold us on the place. No matter the question he always had the answer. Truly a memorable experience.

This dealership was top notch! Erik went above and beyond to make sure I purchased the truck I was most comfortable with. He gave me suggestions and his advice, but was in no way pushy what-so-ever. After I decided on a truck the process was absolutely painless. So quick and professional. I felt like family by the end of the whole process! I would recommend Mel Hamilton Ford (Erik in particular) to anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle. Thank you very much!!

We came here and we're instantly greeted by Jon. We told him about a crumby experience we had just had at another dealership. I feel like Jon really listened to what we wanted/needed and what price we wanted to stay under. He worked hard to earn our business. It is never fun to spend all day at the dealership but Jon made it bare able when we got free lunch and drinks. I think after our experience today we may start with Mel Hamilton Ford first. Thanks Jon for the great experience!!

Edit to my previous post: While they tried to make it right, it never did get quite fixed. The issue is that when I went to buy my new car, they insisted my husband must sign the papers first. Even after I questioned then, they said it would make no difference. While in credit this may be true, the car was going to be registered to my husband until I requested they change it to my name, and it took multiple times of me complaining before they could look my car up under my name when I scheduled it for warranty work. While it isn't a big deal to some, it does come off a bit sexist which I hate to throw out. Since this was the first new car I have bought, it would have been a better experience if it actually appeared to be my car on the non financial paperwork. I continually get emails, surveys, and bills addressed to my husband. I wish they would have recognized that it was my car and that it does matter who signs first on their paperwork. Buying a car is more than just having a vehicle to drive for some. I will probably not shop here for a car in the future based on principle, it recommend this dealership. I didn't feel like they really valued me as a customer, so even if it was an accident they should have done more to make me feel valued like put my name in the system the first few times I complained about this issue.

The service center has already been really good to me. I have been nothing but happy with them.

Original post: I had a very positive experience. There was a slight issue with paperwork and when I talked to the dealership they were very understanding and acted immediately to get things sorted out. We worked with Austin in finance and Nader as our sales rep and they both were very straightforward and professional as well as all of the other employees we encountered during our purchase.

There is no other when it comes to buying any Ford car or truck. I've bought many vehicles from Mel Hambelton and not once have I been mistreated. Brian Sladek is a great guy and has become more than a salesman but a good friend, when you have that kind of connection with a dealer they become more like family. Their inventory is like no other and their ability to reach out and grab the vehicle you want is truly amazing. Not only is it a pleasure to do business with them but I absolutely love the cookies I get in the mail every time I buy a new vehicle, it's a nice touch and shows that little extra mile you get when doing business with them.

I went in knowing exactly what I wanted to buy & was fortunate enough to end up working with Nolan. He helped make my purchase experience quick & easygoing! He was pleasant to work with & I would definitely buy from him again. James in the finance office was awesome & he helped lock in my purchase at a great rate. I couldn't have had a better buying experience!! Thanks guys Love my Mel Hambelton SUV!!

My husband and I recently purchased a car from Mel Hambelton from Robert "the redneck guy". We received excellent service. After our first visit, Robert sent us a video of the vehicle we were interested in. My husband then received a message from the Sales Manager to make sure we had been taken care of. All of this before we had even made any commitment. When we returned with some changes to what we wanted, Robert took no time to find exactly the right car for us. We were treated very well and never felt "cornered" as usually happens with car dealerships.

Went in for a alignment and was quoted 1 hr of time.. sat for 2 hrs before they got my car in.. didn't get finished until the doors were locked behind me so they could close.. no discount.. no apologies. . Poor service. Worst part.. I had to take it back to be realigned a day after because it was crocked. Will NEVER do business with again!!!

Where do I even start! If i could give this place negative stars, I would. My husband and I were "approved" for two car loans on 12/26/2016. We were given 60 day tags and sent home with the vehicles that day and told to come back the next day to sign the paperwork. We got no word from the lot the next day so my husband called and was told that they hadn't heard back from the bank yet and that things were moving slowly because of the holiday rush. The following day, we received a credit denial notice in the mail from the finance company that we had previously been told had approved us. My husband called the lot back and told them and he was told then that he should go in and talk to the credit union that denied us because it was probably because of the Chapter 13 bankruptcy that we had just been discharged from and they needed to see the discharge paperwork. My husband went in and talked to the credit union and they told us they typically don't loan until 6-12 months after discharge of a Chapter 13. My husband went in to the car lot and talked to the salesman and told him what the credit union had said and he assured him that he would still get us financed and not to worry. We waited and waited and called back again after a few more days and were assured yet again that things were still fine and that they would be able to get us financing. In fact, they told my husband that it was their job to worry, not ours, that they would handle it. Well today, after almost 2 weeks of driving these cars, the lot called and told us that they were unable to get us financed and we'd have to return the cars! And on top of that, we had traded my husbands car in for his new one and they said they wouldn't be able to get it back until tomorrow! We are aghast at this horrible treatment! We have purchased from much less reputable car lots in our lives and have never been treated so badly. I would walk 20 miles to and from work before I would ever go back to this place for a vehicle. Beware if financing might be difficult for you-don't leave the lot with the vehicle until the paperwork is signed. In fact, just take your business elsewhere. Their customer service is severely lacking unless you are purchasing a $50, 000 vehicle and have perfect credit.
