Took our 8-year old dog to Worthington. Ginger had suddenly come down with multiple issues and the diagnoses changed three times in one week. The final diagnosis was straightforward and obvious - she had suffered a stroke and the prognosis was not good. We had to have her euthanized - so sad but the staff was great.

Pricey? Yes, but we've always had excellent service. Now taking our last dog there today. Arthritis in her hips is beyond meds.

I had a very sick puppy we had only had for 2 weeks. I brought him in and they took amazing care of him. They have a wonderful bedside manner with people and animals alike. We ultimately had to make the decision to let our baby go. They were so wonderful and caring and made a bad situation as easy as they could. They did everything they could to fix our little guy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone with a pet.

The staff here was very nice and understanding. Answered every question we asked about our dog. The 3 stars is for the pricing. One person would give us one price and another would give us a different price.

My pet was having breathing issues that our standard vet couldn't treat so we brought her here. Unfortunately after many tests, an xray found 2 giant masses pushing on her lungs and heart. She was very old and although they offered us options on possible treatment, her chances were low, and we decided we didn't want her to be in pain any longer. They brought in fluffy blankets for her and me to lay on in a private room and allowed us to say goodbye for as long as needed. My son came after school and they had a bowl of treats like turkey dogs, chicken and peanut that he got to feed her. They even gave me a book to read to the kids when they are ready. I cannot say enough good things about MedVet. They truly cared about our elderly dogs comfort and our need to work through an unexpected goodbye after 10 years together. The vet herself spent a lot of time on the floor with me just loving on her and being supportive. She and the tech were amazing.

I cannot thank Dr. Amanda Morphet, and the staff of Medvet Hilliard, for their care and professionalism, when I had to bring my hedgehog in through their emergency services. They were so quick to evaluate her and get her into a room. Sadly, my little Hedgie had to be put down. Their staff was such an enormous comfort during an otherwise painful time. I could tell they really cared about helping me make informed decisions. But, most importantly, they cared about keeping my Hedgie comfortable and giving me time with her. Thank you MedVet.

The workers, techs and vets at this location were so kind and helpful. They treated our dog with such love that it was easy to tell they had compassion and a genuine love for animals. It's never a good thing if you end up here, but seeing how caring they were to our dog and other animals made us feel a little better.

This place is amazing! They provide fast and friendly service, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. They discuss exact price of treatment and procedures before doing them. All procedures and price are approved by pet owner before they proceed. They discuss alternatives and risks very nicely. They DO NOT take the more expensive route to make more money. They focus on the best interest of the pet. The only downfall is that they are more expensive than regular vet.

Yes they can be pricey, but worth it for emergencies. Their exotic vet Dr. Oglesbee is the best and the vet techs were amazing. I had to take my chinchilla in multiple times over a month to check in on her injury and I wouldn't have trusted many other vets to take care of her the way they did.

Save your pet the horror and go to medvet Worthington. I am continuously shocked at how incompetent and rude the receptionists are at medvet Hilliard. As if this weren't enough, the Veterinarians have misdiagnosed my dog twice, costing us over $2,000. I tried to insist that my dog was having problems in his abdomen and not his spine, but the Doctor shushed me up and told me she was the professional. 1 month later my dog had a ruptured spleen due to hemangiocarcenoma, requiring a $5,000 emergency surgery. The x-Ray revealed no history of spinal issues. The doctor barely apologized for the misdiagnosis and basically told us "it happens." I felt so cheated. I feel like this medvet only cares about making as much money as possible. They are not compassionate and caring like you expect from your veterinarian. Please save yourself the heartbreak and the financial stress and go see another Vet if possible!

I had to rush my bunny here from Cincinnati at midnight due to GI stasis issues as well as a severe fever. We saw Dr. Fagunda who was incredibly kind and helpful and gave my bunny medication at the hospital as well as for us to use at home. She did seem to have perked up quite a bit so we went home. I had to take her back the next day because after the initial progress, she went further downhill. Dr Klepper decided other would be best to hospitalize for the fever and worsening stasis. Unfortunately, shortly after leaving my bunny did pass. I know that the vets I saw did Teresa absolute best to care for my bun and were so kind and considerate.

I later talked with my normal vet about what could have happened and she agreed that my bun was very sick. While I am devastated that I lost my bunny, I know those vets did their best with my complicated situation.

I have been taking my ferrets here since I got them a few years ago and have always gotten great service. Eventually one of my ferrets had to be put down due to extreme health issues. The staff were real understanding of my loss. The vet I had been seeing even stayed an hour past her shifts end to be there when I brought him in to offer condolences and offer hugs to me and my 8 year old daughter. The saddest moment of my life was made easier by the caring staff going above and beyond the call of duty.
(Edit: Melissa Ferry is the name of the vet. I highly recommend her for all ferret owners)

One of our dogs swallowed a lot of vitamins and fish oil and he started convulsing and acting as if he could not walk. We were concerned he would have a seizure so we took him to get looked at by MedVet. We assumed they would give him fluids or pump his stomach as clearly what he ate was causing stomach issues. They told us to call ASPCA poison control to determine if there was anything toxic in the pills he got into. When they told us there was nothing to worry about they then sat in front of us saying all of these different things that could be causing an issue. They asked us several times if he had gotten into anything else and we repeatedly told them no. They focused on the fact that he couldn't walk way too much. Tried to say he must have a back injury or a torn ACL. I'm not a vet, however the incompetence of the vet we talked to was astounding. Finally after keeping our dog hostage for 3 hours we demanded to see him. When they brought him to us he was still panting heavily and convulsing. Based on our initial look at him we could tell he was dehydrated. We asked how much water he had been given and they told us none. A dog needs to flush out his system due to ingesting something he shouldn't have and you don't even give him water? How is that even possible? We asked to get a bag of fluid sent home with us so that we could administer it ourselves. 3 hours, $700 later at home with our dog we gave him fluids and he felt instantly better. This place is the biggest scam I have ever come across. The incompetence, lack of empathy, and overall disregard for actually caring for your animal is so horrendous it is laughable. I could run a better vet office outside of my home than these people that call themselves vet techs and vets. I will never go to this place again and I will tell everyone I know never to go to them. Do not waste your time or money on taking your animal here. All you will get is a hefty bill and zero understanding on what is wrong with your animal. I have no idea how this scam is still going on. They are robbing people who are simply trying to get emergency care for their animal. I have no idea how they sleep at night.
