Great place to have a nice meal out. We've only been once at this point but the food was spectacular. The service was great too. It is not inexpensive but I think it is appropriately proceed for the quality of food.

We will definitely return.

We have been trying to get in for some time, but never could secure a reservation. Until tonight. The food was okay, not great. Service somewhat slow, but everyone appeared to be trying their best. However, the noise level is why we will not be returning. Far too many tables shoved into the place. Unfortunately, not worth the wait.

I'm not sure why all the negative reviews but I come here all the time . Yes it's "pricey" meaning it more than your usual resto for dining . The service has always been good and the food has always been above "GREAT". 5 stars from me and this is a review from going here over a year now consistantly. Who cares about dish presentation when the food delightfully tingles and dances on your taste buds? Get over it people ! 😜

Delicious and a cute date night, couples place. We found this when we googled restaurants on the Wabash River. We arrived and was going to have to wait but decided to eat outside. They had a nice gas fire going and it was right on the river. The food was a little more expensive than what we are used to spending but not too bad. We started with calamari ($12) and it was average to what we have had before at other restaurants. I order a Mango Tango (alcoholic beverage) ($9) and it was good, strong but good. We ate our salads, ceaser (costs $2 more) and house w/ ranch and both were average. Our nice waitress also served us a bread basket with butter and cinnamon butter which I loved (I shouldn't but I do😊). Our entrée then arrived, I had the McGraw's chicken with portobello mushrooms as my side ($21) & my husband had 14oz Ribeye steak with mashed potatoes ($29). I really like my chicken and cheese provolone all on it along with the mushrooms. My husband said the steak was tender and okay, but thought the mashed potatoes were too peppery (he doesn't like anything spicy). Our waitress, Lindsey was very nice and on top of things. Side note: At some point a guy let a goat and two pot bellied pigs out and they were walking around and kept trying to get them herded back but it didn't bother us.☺

Expensive, and gets crowded, but it is upscale, and worth it. The Prime Rib is soooo good. Only available on Fridays and Saturday nights, I believe. Make a reservation for weekends. It is pricey, but if you want a romantic, delicious meal, and a phenomenal wine selectionthis is it. Their craft beer selection is very good, as well. Everything on the menu has been outstanding. I have not been disappointed with any of it. I was surprised to see they had 18th street brewing co's Hunter Vanilla. Somewhat a rarity when I had been there, and yet they had it. Not bad, at all. Do yourself a favor, and treat your wife, or girlfriend to a really nice meal. Great view on the river as well. Can't go wrong.

This restaurant offered amazing river views in an upscale classic steakhouse setting. A true gem, this eatery is located on a skinny county road just 15 minutes from downtown West Lafayette. The food was meticulously crafted, almost as if it came straight from a New York steakhouse. A view into the kitchen showed an expertly running staff on a busy night along with a sparkling kitchen. Our waitress was amazing, and considering our party of 6 loud and local Chefs, we were greatly appreciative of her patience and effort. Personally I had Sea Scallops, while others at my table enjoyed Ahi Tuna, Ribeye, and Teriyaki Steak Tips. I also enjoyed a "Fools Rush In" cocktail (twice!), which was also exquisite.
I will definitely be making reservations for my next riverside dining experience here!!!

When we arrived, the evening sun was lighting up the trees across the river after a new snow. Picturesque! Loved the black and blue salad-- best I've ever had with crispy onion straws and chunks of blue cheese. The rib cap was wonderful too. We also like spending summer evenings on the patio overlooking the river. It's a little out of most people's way but well worth it!

We made reservations for a Saturday night for a party of 3. I highly recommend reservations. This place got really busy, really fast. If you have never been here before, as you are following your directions/navigation, be mindful the restaurant is set back off of the road. So keep an eye out for a white fence and you won't miss it.

We were seated right away and our waitress got our drink order. She was very attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, friendly, and accommodated for food allergies. The different courses of the meal came out evenly spaced throughout our dinner. We were never made to feel rushed or hurried through our meal. Everything we ordered was fresh, hot, and flavorful. The prices were comparable to other fine dining restaurants in the Lafayette area. The views from the dining room overlooking the river at dusk was picturesque. We will definitely be visiting again.

The only 3 challenges while we were here:
1. We had a reservation for 5pm, and the doors open AT 5pm. It felt very crowded trying to get into the restaurant, and we had to stand in a line outside in the cold to get into the restaurant. Once inside we were seated right away though

2. The bathroom was closed for some reason. It didn't say why and there is only one bathroom that we could see

3. Mind your step getting into the restaurant as there is quite a large step at the main entrance. I didn't notice if there was another wheelchair accessible entrance.

One suggestion- add soy milk or nondairy creamer options. It's a small addition, but greatly appreciated for guests who experience lactose intolerance.

Overall, I wasn't too impressed. The food was okay, but a little spendy if you ask me. I had a mushroom pasta dish. It was was satisfying but fell short of my high expectations.

As far as the atmosphere goes, this place is good for large groups. Had it been a warmer night, I would have enjoyed sitting outside next to the river (beautiful view).
