Worst dealership EVER! Change in ownership may make the place LOOK a little better but many of the same staff that reek of unprofessionalism prevail. The slimy salesman that leased me the car 3 years earlier (pick up btw was a disaster) watched me sit there for over 40 minutes w/ my 80 year old mother after the woman I made the appointment with to return my Mazda 6 called me by the wrong name and said she'd be right back. She never returned. They took 15 minutes to locate her in the first place and I had left work early to return the car. They are just as disorganized now as they were 3 years ago. Finally after watching the "sales manager" yuck it up w/ his frat boys, he came over after I asked a young sales girl to help me. She waited patiently for about 10 more minutes for him to acknowledge her and she asked him what to do. In short, he was an arrogant idiot and had no idea how to receive my car. He had a young mechanic look at my car and I was told I had at least $3,000 worth of damage and was in need of 4 new tires. Admittedly there was a scrape and a few dings but I had recently gotten a new tire and knew there was no way the car had $3,000 worth of damage. Thankfully Chase Bank who covered the lease loan gave me a credible evaluation and my return payment was less around $900 including the $395 return fee I knew I was going to have to pay. In the end, all they had to do was sign off on a paper. We sat there for nothing, would not recommend them to ANYONE. What good is it if the "new" owners keep the same incompetent staff. Never again.

Excellent staff. Great experience. The change in ownership is definitely noticeable.

Hm where to start we found this place outta the blue when my Mom dad & i where looking for a car for me (Alex) on the 11th of October and there was some superior staff there they really seemed to know what they where doing when we arrived a little over 6:00 PM that day we were talking to a sales rep named Marc who really helped us out on finding the right Mazda and he helped us pick out a Brand new 2018 Mazda CX3 which we picked up on Saturday October 14th at 3:30 PM the Mazda is still with us and its been a lot of fun

New ownership and staff. Exchanged my 3 year lease on a CX-5 for the new 2017 CX-5 Grand Touring. Chris was very helpful in getting me in the car I wanted at a price I wanted. Thanks! Hope it goes as smooth 3 years from now.

Customer service needs to improve. Called last Friday hit the number for the service dept somehow got directed to sales bc no one picked up. I waited another few minutes then they ask if they could get my number to call me back which is reasonable enough so I gave it to them. No call back. So I wait a few days and call again, and yet again I get directed to sales because no one in service dept picks up. Wait another 5 minutes on hold and they tell me they are booked up for another 2 weeks! All I needed was an oil change. If they are that busy where they can't pick up phones or do a simple oil change before 2 weeks go by maybe they need to hire more staff. I'll go elsewhere for my service.

This place is horrible. They have the worse follow up skills. I spent close to a month trying to reach my salesman. This guy never called back or responded to any emails. I would rather drive down to the Mazda dealership in Rockland then do business with them.

Was told would have to wait a month for an oil change I prepaid for!!!
Now I have to go somewhere else and pay for it. They are being sold and do not have enough servicemen. Don't know how they stay open. Who would buy there? Was told I can't use my prepaid maintenance at another dealership!! Horrible!!!

Horrible Dealership, I just bought a car from them. When I had a problem that I could not resolve with the sales person I asked to speak to the owner or manager. David Piza told me that they were in the middle of being sold and there was no one to talk to. I asked how is that even possible. I asked if they were in foreclosure, the salesmen laughed and said something like that! What ? Stay away from this dealership they are going out of business. They have no cars no staff they are liars, when I was there I was told the other employees had the day off or sick and the shipment of cars were do that friday! still no employees. no cars!
Do you self a favor and buy a HONDA! If it was possible to give them no stars I would. One star is too many!!

I NEVER write reviews but these guys have irked me pretty good. Sales guy was nice enough, but they ran a hard inquiry on my credit without 1) asking or 2) receiving permission to do so. I've tried calling during their posted hours but no-one picks up the phone. Recommend that you don't give them anything that will identify you. It'll make it tough to do a test drive but you'll thank me later when you don't have to go through the bs of getting the inquiry removed from your credit reports.

Awful dealership. Typical bait and switch. Called beforehand, when I arrived I was told the car I wanted was "on an extended test drive." I cannot rate lower than one star, do not shop here.

Picked up my vehicle yesterday, and the gas light is on already. Most of the cars on the lot were dirty - this is probably one of the more trashy dealerships I've seen. The people were nice enough - honored the bait once the bait and switch was discovered (check their website prices, because it'll save you a few thousand). I got them to take a whopping add'l $250 off even though I requested new tires (did not even get mentioned again). Don't expect any extras or special attention. I'll probably go to Compass in Middletown if I decide to buy another Mazda.

My husband and I purchased a used car for our 17 year old son here. I picked the car up with my son on a Thursday and while driving home the check engine light came on and when we pulled into the driveway the car shutoff. My son drove the car the next morning to school and on his way home the car shutoff while he was on Rt. 82. He is a new driver and inexperienced. He had to pull hard on the steering wheel when he realized the car shut off. Thankfully he was able to get to the side of the rode. Thank God nothing happened to him. Rt. 82 is a busy road and cars and trucks go fast. The used car manager came to pick the car up. After checking out the car we were told the intake hose had a crack in it and they replaced it. I wasn't happy about the situation but we took the car back. A week later my son was at his High School for Baseball Tryouts and when he went to leave at 9pm at night the car would not start my husband and I went to the school to give him a jump start but it did not work. I called our insurance company and had the roadside assistance tow the car back to Mazda. I called an told the used car manager that I was not taking the vehicle back. We cannot worry every time our son drives this car that he will be unsafe. I was told that the issue this time was with the battery cables and that it was fixed and the car is fine. I should have never taken the car back after the first issue. To think what could have happened to our son if things had turned out different. You can replace a car but I cannot replace my child. The general manager said that we could come in and check out another car they just got in that was in the same price range. We went up to the dealer and test drove the car and we were not interested. We wanted our money back. After going back and forth we were informed that they will give us a refund. We were told to come to pick up the check and when we got there the GM was not there and no check. This went on for two weeks. Then we were told we needed to bring in the title which we did not receive until this past Monday. My husband signed the title and gave the keys back and still not check. Called and left message with no return call. I was told that the check would be ready for pickup today. Went there on my lunch hour to be told that the GM was not there and no check. Aggravated is an understatement. I told the sales person to let the GM know that I would be back after I got out of work for a check. I don't care who was writing it or where they were getting it from but it better be there when I come back. My husband called me while I was on my way back to work and he said that he received a call that the check was ready. I turned around and went back and they miraculously found someone who could write me a check. We picked up the car March 2, 2017 and today is April 7, 2017. Our son has been without a car, he paid for a parking pass from a local place as he is a Junior and cannot park on campus.

I will NEVER again do business with Mazda of Poughkeepsie.
