Dr. Jay Buchholz is awesome. he did a great job for our beloved dog. We came from Texas and since we have moved here we visited different clinics, but we couldn't trust them. I recommend Dr. Jay Buchholz. He really cares about his patients.

Through the smiles and tears Maywood Vet has always been there for us. They are professional, pleasant and especially informative, but most of all they are compassionate. I will always be thankful to Maywood and will remain one of their biggest fans. Also, thanks for the hugs!!

Dr Buchholz and his entire team are so very compassionate, helpful and cheerful. Prices are reasonable as are treatment suggestions. Wouldn't go ANY WHERE else!

We first took our pup to Maywood when he accidentally ate rolls of dental floss and he needed to have foreign object surgery. The staff is always friendly and helpful in aiding our dog, so we made them our permeant vet even though we live a half hour away. They are a bit pricey but the service is quality and I always leave feeling like my pet received the best care.

Great animal lover's. Have been going there for 23 years. All my three dogs have gone there. Would not go anyplace else. From the vets to the tecs, they all care about your pets like they were theirs. Love,love,love maywood vets.

My pet is well served here. Attentive workers, very professional staff; it tends to be expensive, but it is the market we live in these days. Insure your pet before age take its toll, for out of pocket costs can be daunting when a pet is chronically sick. Anyway, the treatment is humane and I am very happy with the overall benefits this clinic has provided. My pet is happy, too.

LOVE MAYWOOD VET! The front desk staff is always personable, professional and helpful, the doctors are thorough and kind, and the techs and assistants are both capable and accommodating. It always smells clean and looks tidy, and the quality of service for the price is very reasonable. Wouldn't go anywhere else!

Excellent staff and doctors. My dog Liam never liked going to the vet when we lived in MA but he loves Dr. Lim. She has so much patience and I can tell she genuinely cares. As long as my dog is happy I do not mind costs, especially knowing that he is in good hands.

Front desk/reception staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Easy to get appointment and short wait times to see doctors. Had to have my older cat euthanized several months ago- very difficult situation. Dr. Mahalko was so patient and understanding- I am grateful to her for making the experience easier to handle. Currently have my newly adopted shelter kitty at clinic for tests and evaluation. Care she is receiving is beyond outstanding.
Have been given frequent updates regarding her condition and able to visit with her beyond office hours. Special people who genuinely care about providing the best possible care.response / report this review -

Today was my first visit to the clinic with my 15 year old female tabby for a full workup and geriatric profile. The doctor and staff were *amazing* and that word falls drastically short of just how great they are. You can tell they have a strong genuine love for animals and they *really* treat yours like it was one of theirs. They were friendly, kind, gentle, and caring, I highly recommend them.

I have had to make appointments, on short notice, due to an illness of one of my two pets on more than one occasion. Each time I called the staff showed concern and has always managed to get me in to see one of the veterinarians. It also gives me piece of mind to know that the office has hours 7 days a week. I feel the owner Doctor B is truly dedicated to the well being of all animals.

My puppy Nala may not be a fan of the reason going to the vet, but she sure loves to see all of her friends there ! The staff knows her as soon as she walks in and showers her with love and treats that she is basically jumping into their arms. When she had surgery I was so nervous but they sent me pictures and text messages of her progress throughout the day. The wait is never long, prices are fair, and the staff is stellar ! I can't say one bad thing ! I hope whoever reads this if you are unsure where to take your furry loved one, you take them to Maywood Veterinary Clinic ! We commute 30 minutes just to get the exceptional treatment they provide ! Well worth the drive !

The staff at the Maywood Veterinary Clinic is outstanding! I recently had my little cat Pig in for a dental cleaning and could not have been happier with the service. The front desk was quick to answer any questions or concerns I had upon leaving my beloved kitty for her procedure. I called several times throughout the day to check in on her and not once did any of the technicians or receptionists seem bothered by my constant need for updates, as these are our children and I was one concerned mommy! I highly recommend this hospital to anyone who is interested in the highest standard of care for their pet. and look forward to returning with the rest of my clan!
