Fun bar with live music venue on the back. Very talented artists, good sound quality, decently priced drinks.

Great place. Drinks aren't exorbitant, staff is friendly and helpful. Decor is great, paintings of pop culture icons, photos of acts famous for playing Maxwell's as a venue. The place is a great draw for more bands, be they established, or up-and-coming.

Cool place in Hoboken for live music. There are 2 bars; one in the main area and a smaller one in the back room where shows are played. Has a fun vibe, good service, and good music!

Maxwell's definitely brought back some old memories haven't been there in years, menu definitely needs to be upgraded, had a party of 4 we all had different things from the menu we all were not satisfied, even the burger which was one of my favorites wasn't really good :-( although the place looks great and the bands in the back for good :-)

Went here for a gig and some bar food in advance - they were out of a few options but I enjoyed the buffalo chicken flatbread and there was a nice $5 happy hour on bottled drinks. The gig venue in the back is decent and feels like a surprise find when you get there.

Pub food but good live music and one of the few places in Hoboken in where depending on the band you can actually dance. Drinks were below average (at least in the concert area) where you pretty much have only one type each of liquor. Also the set up is kinda of weird with tables on one side, but then those tables get blocked when people start coming in (like 30 mins into the 1st band) so not sure you cannot make a better use of the space
