They have their hand out for $$$$ but not to help! I could have done a better job representing our case than than attorney here. Eric Dibert. Waste of our precious time and money. Keep looking or do it yourself!

I consulted with Dana Matthews in Destin in 1992 when I purchased my townhouse in Shalimar regarding the "land lease" agreement for the common grounds of the Honeycomb Townhouse complex.
I understand he is not "in control" of the situation and doesn't have any ties to the complex. However, I am requesting another consultation with this firm today and would like the opportunity to continue this review after I get a response from his office. I submitted my request today, March 26, 2016 at about 10:16 AM via the company website.

Buying real estate in Fort Walton Beach?? BEWARE!! Tell your realtor you do NOT want this title company handling anything to do with your transaction.
Not only did they provide zero research into anything owed against the title, like HOA fees and ad velorum taxes, but they neglected to pay the necessary county real estate taxes witheld from the seller at closing, and now are claiming the owed taxes on the title insurance company. Incredible. Typical lawyers, you really don't know what to believe.
Bottom line, it has been a total cluster of a fiasco. We plan to purchase more investment condo property in Ft Walton but will steer clear of these legal clowns.response / report this review
