Great massages; absolutely horrible customer service.
I have been a loyal patron of Massage Forever for the past 3 years. My masseuse, Amy, was fantastic with deep tissue massages! Unfortunately, the customer service for the company is so terrible I've stopped going. (Including, most recently, being screamed at for asking to reschedule an appointment).
First, the business recently started mixing up my appointment dates/times, and would call asking where I was - even though my massage had been scheduled on a different date or time. This occurred three or four times. The most recent time it happened, the business called me at 11:00 am and asked where I was. I said my appointment wasn't until 16:00. The woman on the other end of the phone said that she would "have to listen to the recording of my call to check," insinuating that I was lying.  Weird, but whatever. I chalked it up to new staffing issues.
The second issue: I ended up calling back at 14:00 to see if I could reschedule my appointment due to finding out I had been exposed to COVID. The woman immediately started screaming at me and told me that I had already used that excuse before, and she demanded to see my COVID test results. I tried explaining to her that I didn't know if I had COVID, but that I found out I had been exposed to the virus and didn't want to spread it to her staff if I was infected. She either was not listening or did not understand, because she kept screaming at me. I ended up just hanging up the phone on her. It was bizarre. But then it got even stranger, when she called me back, and started to yell again! She said that I should know better, because I was a government employee (huh?) and that the next time she would make me pay in advance of the appointment. Uh, sorry lady, but there won't be a next time. You're crazy. I've never been treated like that in my life as a customer - especially one who frequented your business often and always tipped well. I'm taking my money elsewhere.
Holy cannoli, is there a way to give this place more stars? Found this gem last minute because my shoulder was aching during work and needed to get in somewhere ASAP. I called around 3:30pm and immediately was given availability for same day at 7pm. I was even given a call back around 5pm to ask if I wanted to take a spot that opened up for 6pm. Amazing customer service start to finish by the woman who is at the front.
And then my massage therapist? Strongest hands I’ve EVER had on my back and shoulder. I have had 50+ massage therapists and hundreds of massages over the last 10 years. Jill is AMAZING!!! She was asking to make sure the pressure wasn’t too much and that I was completely comfortable. The scalp massage? The essential oils (lavender) near my nose, the hot stones, the hot towels - all of it 10 out of 10 ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND. And talk about affordable including a 20% tip!
Chef’s kiss, I love this place and can’t wait to come back. Seriously, what a freaking great surprise.
I have had two massages here and both of them were so relaxing that I feel asleep. Based on the quality of the massage, I think this place is a steal!
I have always had positive experiences here. The place is clean and orderly, the massages are relaxing and the staff is friendly. I went today last minute because of some back pain and it was great.
My girlfriend and I booked a couples massage, but accidentally booked too many. We immediately emailed to cancel extra appointments (scheduled 6 weeks in advance) while wanting to keep one scheduled. We never recieved a response. Then we went in person and the manager said a refund will come in 30 days. Well, over one month later and no refund. Girlfriend went back in person to sort it out and manager made rude comments and stated that it could be addressed on the day of the massage. Per their cancel policy, same day cancels are refunded at 50%. We had to go in one more time to request/demand confirmation of canceling ALL appointments and were again unsuccessful. We are now refuting the charge with our bank and will never return to this business trying to scam people of their money.
