An inexpensive motel, average age of customers 50 or older. No running of tab at bar, small buffet for to much, must pay bill for room on arrival. Clean large rooms. Railings and steps need painting.
I love this hotel. Great bar and great food. Rooms are clean
I've stayed here many times. Needs updated but it's clean and they have good food. Staff is friendly.
It's a nice motel that is very clean and the people who work there are Extremely Nice! They have a Lovely pool area & there is a Very Good restaurant located in the motel! It's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and the food & service are Excellent! In addition, there is a bar that's open after 9pm & there is live entertainment on the weekends! It's located on a small mountain so the view is GREAT! I would definitely recommend a stay at this Lovely Motel!
Nice place. Clean and well kept. Marlinton is a pretty town. Be prepared with some downloaded tunes - no wifi, no cell service.
We love this place! Affordable and clean (rooms are definitely dated though). It's a great place to spend the night when we are riding our motorcycles through the beautiful West Virginia hills!
Older rooms. Looked clean. Pool was closed. Nice little restaurant in Motel.
Place has great value. A few things could be updated but aside from that I'd recommend to anyone. Especially the price.
Good value for the money. Rooms are basic but clean. The on site dinner had good cheap food.
Three of us arrived for check in. When walking into the room we were assigned, one bed was made up and the other "bed" was just a mattress leaned up against the wall with no sheets that they expected us to just throw in the floor to sleep on. After addressing the issue to the front desk, she tried to give us a $20 discount to keep the room and sleep on the floor. I told her to cancel my credit card for a refund because I refuse to pay $110 to sleep on the floor. She acted irritated and says "I don't understand the big deal, I've always slept on the floor". Unacceptable. The place was completely outdated and dirty. We drove 45 minutes to Lewisburg WV and stayed in a Holiday Inn Express for CHEAPER! Definitely worth the extra driving. I wouldn't have stayed at Marlinton Motor Inn for Free.
People are friendly, building it's a little outdated but you pay for what you get. Few too many spiders in the room for our liking as well
