Seating was spacious and comfortable. (We were in Aud #3).
Overall theatre was clean.

Large popcorn is best deal since you get a refill. They have days that offer discounts, like early bird specials and senior discounts. Staff is nice and helpful. Theater was decently clean but was very busy when we went so might not have had the staff to keep up. Theaters are a little smaller than some, but I think it makes a better sound and visual experience.

Great place to go see a movie. Go a Tuesday or Thursday if you're a student for $5 movies. Wouldn't waste my time on pricy concessions, but would sign up for a free rewards card, which gets you decent perks. Hassle free movie going experience.

There are a few theaters in this area but Marcus Sycamore is the best. They have the most screens and the best seating. The concession lines are never long because there are enough employees working. Nice selection of movies, including all the new releases and special features as well.

Very comfortable seats. Great sound systems in each theater. Very clean. Have been doing discount Tuesdays where movies are only $5 all day. Free refills on the biggest popcorn size. A great place on the east side of Iowa City to catch a movie

The door closest to the theater, on the side of the mall, always locks at night, so you suddenly can't get in.

Other than that, it's a theater. The staff are extremely unobtrusive. They don't hide, and they never say or do anything rude, but they won't go out of their way to help you either. The screens seem a bit small, but the seats are extra comfortable to make up for that, more leg room than most theaters.

There's two tiers of seats: A set on stairs, and a set closer to the screen. The closer to the screen set are basically neck-breakers, and are also tightly packed. Go for the stairs if you can.

It is wheelchair accessible, even in the bathrooms, so that's good. Marcus himself is dorky in a cute, inoffensive way, and occasionally can be seen in the theater. (He also shows up right before the show on the screen to remind you to turn off your phone)
