The food is very, very good. Their marinara sauce was especially delicious! Highly recommended
I would have rated higher but I could not seem to get hot food. We ordered fried ravioli(not on the menu) and was very good. My dish the fettechini Alfredo was very good. A delicate sauce with hint of garlic. Nice Suze portion but not huge. The other dish was eggplant Parmesan. Very good and came with side of spaghetti. Well prepared and great sauce.
Garluc toast is GARLIC so caution.
Overall I'd come back again. Price is a bit high but not too bad.
I've had the best Italian food NY and Italy have to offer and this place is the best hands down. It's been run by a husband and wife team for over 40 years. She's the cook, he runs the front. She makes EVERYTHING herself. The meats she grinds herself, the bread she makes herself and every dish is made by itself. That's to say if you want more sauce then ask first, as even the sauce for each dish is made just for that plate. No pot of sauce sitting on the stove.
It's has a campy old school charm about the place. Service can take a little bit of extra time, but that's because it takes a bit of time to make food this awesome! My only concern is they are getting older and it will never be the same when she retires unless she's been working to pass on her skills.
They only serve dinner, but get there soon before she retires. It really is that good.
Excellent place!! Very cozy, quiet and excellent service, food is is delicious food, definitely coming back!!
We had gone there before and forgot why we hadn't gone back. Service was good ( that is the second star. One star for food) Food is bland and sauce is brown. Won't go back again.
Seriously one of the best if not the best places for Italian cuisine, tbe atmosphere is calm ,quiet and peaceful, the service excellent and the food to die for , been here a few times ,but today we ordered a pizza all i can say is wow, never thought it would this good , ive always ordered their pastas great experience. .
The staff is very competent, the food a bit pricey. I ordered lasagna/ eggplant parmesan combo and it was ok. The sauce was a bit on the sweet side for my taste. Now I grew up in an Italian household and neighborhood this was not like home.
First time, good food and service.
Excellent food! Very cozy and friendly. My favorite Italian food in north county.
Food was delicious and Carrie was a fabulous waitress and jess has a wonderful smile
5th time, always a wonderful experience. The house Chianti is really good. The outside doesn't look so inviting but the inside is very pleasant ! Service and food are super!
Stopped here to grab a quick lunch on my way to see a client. I liked that their menu wasn't too busy with too many things but they had a lot of healthy unique salads as well as sandwiches. I got the mango salmon salad, it was so delicious! The salmon was well seasoned and flavorful and the mango gave it a nice sweet touch. I'd definitely come back.
