Setting up a group event at the buffet was not an easy process. Tried to pay in advance and was told I would need to pay at the time of the event and that way we would not pay for no shows. Sounds great. But, day of the event was told had to pay for original head count even though only half of our group showed up. Other than that, the staff was polite and accommodating. Food was ok. But we all had a great time. 8/10

This is a magnificent place as you study the architecture, stained glass windows, the light fixtures throughout the casino and food areas. The select pieces of furniture as you check into your rooms or on your way to the delightful gift shop.outside you get to read the history regarding the trainsit takes you back in time. And yes, the slot machines choices are bright and colorful. The casino is clean and inviting. Envelope yourself.

The main street station is an older building, but the rooms have been updated and we're modern, clean, and comfortable. Parking is free for guests and there is no resort fee! So a reasonably priced room actually stays that way. The breakfast buffet was also very good and reasonably priced too. I like that access to the hotel is quick and easy. There's no walking forever through the casino to get to your room. If you are looking for value that is clean and comfortable, this is a great choice. I will be back.

This is our second visit to the property. We stayed here after a week at the strip and during thanksgiving weekend. A nice base for exploring Freemont Street and walking distance to the North Premium outlets. The room is spacious with basic amenities. We like the hotel atmosphere, less ostentatious than the hotels at the strip. A good hotel to explore downtown Vegas.

I stayed here for one night on a trip to California. The check in was smooth and the front desk staff were helpful. The room was clean and in order. At the time of stay, we were required to show our room keys to an attendant to access the elevator.

The parking can be a little confusing. You can park in the parking garage, but you need to get a guest voucher on the day you leave to put into the machine on the way out. The shop inside was open later and I purchased a few necessities there.

My only complaints would be the noise from the freeway, but you can bring earplugs or purchase some from the shop on the main floor if you forget. Overall, a good experience and the antique feel was a nice touch.

The newest games are placed in a classic setting with stained glass and crystal chandeliers. With a buffet set in a room that makes you feel like you are at a world's fair with its wonderful wrought iron setting, this buffet offers the usual plus Hawaiian specialties. 777 offers microbrewery and good food as well with all the sports you can watch. Video poker machines and the latest games make main street a truly fun place to place and dine. If you want b even more you can take the walkway to the cal for more games and other food choices

I did not stay at this hotel but rather went for their buffet. Walking into their casino was like taking a trip into the past when Las Vegas was just coming up. It felt like an old wild west saloon in a good way. The buffet was wonderful for the price. Only $10 for all you can eat!

The selection was standard fare, but the food they had was surprisingly really good. Get the player's card first for a discount-- about $20 for two people, not bad. Be aware of your surroundings if walking here-- we saw a homeless man between here and Fremont. On the way back, his change cup was gone, a cop was there, and he was sporting a black eye. All happened within the hour we walked here.

We had lunch at the Garden Court Buffet. We got there about 12:30 pm, the line was not very long although we saw LARGE groups seated as we arrived and just after we got there. The buffet was filed with a great variety of dishes. The hot dishes were most definitely hot, and the cold selections chilled. The dessert selection was impressive. Our waitperson was pleasant and attentive. We will definitely return.

Went with some friends to the Triple 7 Brewery inside Main Street Station and really enjoyed their micro brews. The sampler was great to get started! Thanks to our bartender Shane who made it a great time.

The service was excellent. The players club sign up was seamless. The hostess and manager at the restaurant was very accommodating and attended to our every need. I would recommend tp anyone to stop by and be amazed

I went to the Garden Court buffet for lunch on a Wednesday. There were a lot of diverse offerings, but I wasn't particularly impressed with the quality of the food. The cut-to-order brisket and turkey were probably the best offerings, but the brisket was a little too well done for my taste. The desserts were excellent.

The casino does a nice job venting the smoking (downtown is notorious for heavy smoke), the gaming area is well lit (which is nice), and the environment is overall friendly and warm. I stop by this hotel every year for dinner at the buffet as it is highly rates and is truly generally a great deal. However, I went yesterday and it was quite clear they have worked to cut costs which strongly impacted the quality of the food offerings. I encourage them to put some effort into addressing this issue.

Went to Main Street primarily for dinner, since we heard it was good and we wanted to try the micro brewery products. While we were served fadt, it was too fast. I ordered meatloaf that claimed to have a special recipe, supplemented by French onion soup. My soup arrived, was just warm and not particularly tasty. Pretty much ALL onions with some juice. Flavor just so so. Before I took my 3rd bite if soup, my meatloaf arrived. Mashed potatoes were a hard lump, meat loaf was in fact a loaf of meat. Not special, but not bad. My husband ordered the pizza. Eh. Not very good and we love pizza. All in all, not a place I would particularly recommend, but it did fill us up.
