Sure, the beer is good (I can't say better than other local brew pubs). The Reuben sandwich I ordered was OK. However, the place itself is dark and I don't think there were any windows. The young man serving behind the bar was surly at best. I won't return.
Love the beer, love the atmoshpere, and products were not expensive. Drove in from buffalo and was happy to stop there before checking into hotel. Love it
It was really cool in there..bunch of awesome t shirts, glasses ect. Great beer and the free tour was pretty cool. If your an IPA guy i liked the blind faith!
Magic Hat has been one of my favorite go to beers for a while and I was super excited to see the brewery itself. The place has an eclectic vibe going on. It seems like they are really trying to exude a zany, quirky style that can feel a little overdone at times.
We loved the tour and Josh, I think his name was Josh, gave tons of cool information about the different beers that have been brewed over the years. Definitely do not want to try the infamous garlic beer he mentioned. We tried one of their flights and the beers were pretty good. I'm not a big fan of dark beers so those weren't my favorite. They have great IPAs that I would recommend. But overall it's a cool brewery to come and visit.
Vermont is such a cool state, but what makes it so cool is places like this. On our way back from lovely Montreal one late summer day, we detoured a little to visit Magic Hat. What an excellent executive decision. We got there on a day that tours we're not running, but they were very appreciative we stopped in, welcomed us to do a self tour which we did, and offered us several free samples. For those who don't already know, Magic Hat makes some of the best beer around. Even though I'm a strict IPA guy, their Number 9 is just too perfect. Stop in and see for yourself.
Fun place!! Good tour. Good beer! !
It's a pretty cool brewery. The decor is interesting. The beer is decent as well.
I visited on a Saturday and it wasn't too busy in the main room, tours run every hour and it was about 2 mins past 2. Samples are not free, but for $3 you can get a flight of 4 samples and the men and woman behind the bar are very knowledgeable about the beers on tap!
Very entertaining for a brewery. Option to do the tour self guided was nice to have. The "art" was humorous and there was beer.
A good tour and nice tour guide. Beer isn't my favorite, but it's a solid choice.
This is cool place. It's more arts than beer though, which is good actually! Staffs are happy, fun, and funny. The sandwiches are good. The cheese is awesome!
A great experience. Not the fanciest brewery i've ever visited but well done and all the art from the various flavors as well as a nice self tour and a really cool movie. the store/tasting room was awesome plenty to choose from at reasonable prices as well as super friendly staff.
This place is a blast with very fun decorations and atmosphere. The walking tour is great fun and the gift shop and tasting area are great as well. Would be five starts but they limited how much you can sample. Highly recommend touring this brewery over others locally for those who haven't been.
Four free samples, great beer, and nice atmosphere. I used to say that Magic Hat was good at releasing new beers, but that I'd never found one that knocked my socks off, but that changes today. The Wee Heavy Champ Scotch Ale is right up my alley. I'll be back for more if I can't find it closer to home. Lots of cool beer swag for sale too :)
