  Extremely expensive tickets for shows with technical problems, cheap costuming and weak acting. Disappointing; other community theaters would be a better way to spend money and time.

  They put on pretty high quality plays. It can be hit or miss, so I do recommend a look at the reviews that can be found on Columbus Underground or in Columbus Alive before going. Generally the acting is very good, the plays are entertaining, and the atmosphere is pretty down to earth.
  
  Theater roulette can be a very enjoyable experience I would bet that you are very likely to laugh out loud at some point in the evening should you check on out.

  Takes risks and mounts New Works in a small, intimate 75 seat black box.
  
  Consistently churns out both dramas and comedies in their full season, and home to well known annual shorts festival Theatre Roulette for adult playwrights, and Young Writers for high school playwrights.
  
  I've never seen a show at MadLab that I didn't want to keep talking about at the bar across the street. Always something new here.
