Mad Planet is a great place to go for both dancing and lounging without a ton of pretense. Fridays in particular feature a fun 80s-themed dance selection. Weekends can be a crowded, so come early. The crowd is pretty diverse and welcoming. Drinks are reasonably priced too, and there's an outdoor area.

Pretty much an ideal place to have some drinks and dance the night away without worrying about impressing anybody.

Why would you go somewhere else? It is pure dancing fun, especially for the retro night on Fridays (focus is on new wave 80s dance music).

This is the best place to dance the night away! Like the 60-80s created a love child and this is what happened. The music was a culmination of today's Funk/Fusion with a Motown twist and Spanish tempo. Drinks are a little pricey but you get well enough liquored up with every drink! Must go again!

Great staff except the 80's DJ he doesn't care what you want to hear, what's on his request sheet or how much you tip him, he will tell you people don't want to hear it and take your money. Get a better a DJ that care what people want to here or just make a play list essentially that is all he will do.

Visited here on New Years. Paid a $15 cover to enter. What were they charging a cover for?? It was marginally filled and they didn't seem to be doing anything noteworthy for the occasion.

THE.BEST.DANCE.CLUB.IN.MILWAUKEE

I just love this place. Mad Planet is one of the only clubs in Milwaukee where you'll always find a crowd dancing. DJ Alter is the best.

Went to 90's dance party. Had a blast!! Pay cash at the bar or wind up dealing with trying to close out a tab with 400 arms reaching at bartenders. Weird neighborhood.
