Gotta love the Belmont. It's on the historic Cathedral Square and very close to other bars and restaurants. The bar itself is very well decorated, has a comfy atmosphere and is a lower key joint. The bartenders all know their stuff and will provide you with a great cocktail at a decent price. No complaints from me and I'll definitely be back

Nice place and good drinks, but the music was SO LOUD. Is this a bar, or a dance floor? Couldn't quite tell. Choose one or the other, because sitting at a table and having to shout to the people I'm with gets old real fast.

I met a group of coworkers for cocktails after work. The place was a little dark for me but I enjoyed the variety of seating arrangements. Had a beer which someone else paid for so I can't comment on the prices or service.

Fun spot in the busy Cathedral Square area. Belmont has a nice casual adult contemporary atmosphere, with craft cocktails and late night DJs.

Belmont has some of the best bartenders in the area! Great drinks & even better service :) Definitely check this place out when you get the chance! Oh & they have free popcorn all night - who doesn't love that!?!

Nice place with older and mature crowd. The outdoor seating is nice. Bartender are aware of people and the service is good. Very open area bar, not big.

It used to be one of my favorite places in Milwaukee, but in the last few months service went from great to really bad. My last experience (May 14th 2017) rude service, bartender would not even acknowledge I'm there. I ordered a drink and barman looked like he's got it. 10 min later no drinks, so I re-ordered and proceeded to wait another 5 min. Waitress was no better, she seemed to be bothered when I asked for a check because I interrupted her being hit on by another patron.
Of course, given my experience, I left no tip, but it looks like the staff decided to tip themselves using my card, as they charged me an extra $24.
Overall, new renovation will not do much for these guys if the service stays like this. I don't recommend this place.

Overpriced drinks and service that underdelivers. Bartender did not understand how to make simple drinks (and by simple, I mean two shots of alcohol in a rocks glass) and our waitress was unattentive to anyone other than her small group of friends. When she finally asked us if we wanted another drink, I said no and explained to her we had simply.been waiting too long to want to stay at the bar any longer. Rather than apologize for her poor service, she grabbed our empty glasses and actually overcharged our bill. We will not be back.
