Dennis came out to install a gas log set and safety check 2 other fireplaces. Dennis did an excellent and thorough job checking all 3 and documenting his findings. We now have 3 fully functioning fireplaces and are assured they are safe. Highly recommended.

Ask around and you will hear the best place to call for fireplace services is Mad Hatterand my most experience confirms this. I met with Derek in the Mad Hatter showroom to discuss installing fireplace logs in my home. Derek was knowledgeable and patient throughout the sales process. The installation team arrived in a timely manner, did excellent work and left my house without a trace of a mess. Highly recommend!

Oh, and they also sell Big Green Eggs!

I recently had my air ducts cleaned and the CAP 500 UV air purifier installed by Zak and Jesus. They were very professional and explained everything they were doing. Zak showed me plenty of pictures to help me better understand what he was talking about. They very honest and fair with their prices. Their customer service and quality of work is 10/10! It is almost unbelievable the air quality in my home now. I highly recommend them and will continue to use them in the future!

We have been to their store (or spoken to their team over the phone) multiple times and whether it’s to inquire about products, buy products, order parts etc the staff has been friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. We love Mad Hatter and won’t go anywhere else for our grilling or smoking needs.

We’ve had 2 different teams come to our home for an install (brilliant service both times). Most recently, (this afternoon), Matt Reedy installed a new fireplace insert and he couldn’t have been more professional, polite and just an all around pleasant young man!
He was so thorough and patient explaining what we should expect, safety concerns and functionality of the unit - it was much appreciated. This is such a great operation (top to bottom), we highly recommend them.

My husband and I were considering converting an outdoor fireplace to gas and asked lots of questions about the looks of the logs, the power of the flame in an outdoor breezy area, projected heat and safety, while in their shop. We worked with Matthew and Carlos who are both excellent. Matthew answered all of our questions, came out to look at our area first to make sure the new set up would work and installed the new fireplace kit, on a windy day! They were clean and thorough. I highly recommend this company, especially these individuals, for any fireplace work.

Matt T. & Miguel were great. I had used a different company for dryer vent/duct cleaning and was still having a problem. So I decided to use Madhatter and they immediately spotted the problem and fixed it. I'll always use Madhatter from here on out.

I needed some replacement parts for my Big Green Egg. I live in North Carolina. Matt was extremely helpful over the phone. I told him how I may have been the reason I needed new parts (user error). He said he had me covered. I paid and he shipped the products needed. Arrived the next day. Thank you Matt! Now I am backed to grilling and smoking in time for the weekend.

Our gas fireplace hadn't been working since we moved in and Mad Hatter was recommended to us. Matt R and Alex J came out, took the time to explain what was going on and all our options. Daniel E also made sure the cap was secured on the roof. All three were so knowledgeable, patient in explaining and represented your company well. We have a working fireplace for the first time in years and I will definitely use and recommend Mad Hatter in the future Thank you!

My new fireplace looks better than I ever expected! Got rid of the old 1970's stone and updated to a more modern look. The entire process was seamless and organized. The crew was professional, timely and hard working. I would definitely recommend the Mad Hatter for all of your fireplace needs.

Zak, Alex and Jr. came to clean out all of our vents and did a terrific job! They talked to my husband and I about the CAP100-UV Central Air Purifier system and we decided to have them install it. These three did a great job on everything and I would recommend them to anyone! We also purchased our outdoor grill and components for our outdoor kitchen and we have been very satisfied.

Mandy took our call request and was very knowledgeable and Professional. Zack and Cooper were excellent, they cleaned ducts and suggested a dryer vent cleaning. On another visit they replace an Air Conditioning Filter Housing that was installed incorrectly years ago. We were very pleased and will use them again.

Mad Hatter is top notch. Very knowledgeable people, excellent customer service and great products too! I get my chimneys swept exclusively by them, and they have installed a wood stove and done several chimney inspections for me at various properties. After receiving several quotes and opinions about solutions for chimney problems, I wouldn't trust anyone else but Mad Hatter. Real. No Nonsense. Extremely knowledgeable. Reasonably priced. Very personable people. What more could you ask for? I hope they stay just the way they are forever.
