I was on the hunt for a non-toxic nail salon and Lunula was exactly what I was looking for plus more! The service is amazing - they pay close attention to detail and I love the little touches they have like offering SPF and using hot towels to dry your hands and feet. Everyone who works there is super friendly and helpful. My manicure has also stayed chip-free since I’ve been there. I look forward to going back!!

I’m okay with paying a premium price for a premium experience. This was simply not one.

▪️The chairs are super cute but extremely uncomfortable. It seems like the salon may have had more of a focus on aesthetics than comfort for the client. I really enjoy the massage chairs and they did not have these available. Totally fine if that works for the clients but I soon realized it was really uncomfortable for me. I think a chair with a higher headrest would have been more relaxing.

▪️The foot stool for my pedicure kept sliding on the floor so I couldn’t relax in the chair as I’d typically do when at the salon.

▪️The technician kept hurting my feet while treating them. I’d pull back and not once did she ask is this better or apologize. I’m pregnant and my feet were swollen some gentle care would have been thoughtful.

▪️It was also really warm. I shared with with one of the girls and she was polite enough to adjust the temperature.

Overall, I love that it’s a toxic free environment but I wouldn’t go back. Thanks to Allie who offered 15% off as she understood these were valid concerns.

The foot focus service was good. However, I don’t think it is worth $50 considering that other places in Greenpoint provide truly amazing experiences for the same price.
I won’t recommend this place and won’t come back myself due to a customer service issue. I usually use quick dry drops to save time. This time they run out of it and offered to pay an extra $10 for a special polish instead. I asked if it’s possible to get a discount due to drops being unavailable. The front desk person said that this is not an option. This attitude did not make me feel like a valued customer.

What a delightful experience, my focus footcare treatment was one like no other, done with lots of care, very detailed and time was taken to make sure my feet was thoroughly clean/pampered. I love the concept of the space, the use of SPF and non-toxic polish. Not only is the nail area treated but there is a focus on the skincare for hands and feet. The space is serene, clean and very welcoming. Thank you to the staff and May my technician for a wonderful treatment.
