I have no complaints about the stylist’s work and have always loved the results. I had to leave a review praising Breya, Fatimah, & Sierra in particular because they are talented and have all done two-strand twists for me at some point in the six months I’ve gone to Island Design Salon. All three stylists work well under pressure in a busy environment. They each took time to make sure I got up from their chair, happy about my hairstyle.

Had my locs retwisted!!! Patria did an AMAZING job!!! I am extremely tenderheaded and she was very gentlebut she had no idea that I am. Will be going back. I had a great experience!

Walked out happy about my locks and style but I will not returning because it is extremely cold in that shop as if they do not pay for heat. If you do happen to go here please bundle up

My personal experience was good. I got interlocking service. Staff was friendly. I didn’t pick the right hair service option prior to my appointment. Which was my fault. But the owner was very nice and informative and rectify my issue quickly without interrupting any other clients appointments she may have had. Gave me tour of her establishment and informed me of the many other services that her business provides. Overall great experience and would recommend and will be going back.
