People are using computers and we don't write like old days but now it's the technology that will affect our eyes

Good school so far. Good teachers, great looking school. (Ive gotten lost alot) and overall good atmosphere. But I only have one complaint so far

The teachers at lowell are amazing, they always are willing to help you if you have questions. I enjoy going to school here. So many different activities to get involved in!

This school is absolutely terrible. I am sitting here writing this on an anonymous email because I am too scared of getting in trouble for my honest opinion of Lowell High School. This school is ridiculous. The majority of the time the students have nothing better to do than to make each others lives a living hell. So many students make one another feel bad about themselves and it really kills self confidence. I've been bullied here multiple times and after visiting the office on many occasions, nothing has been fixed. I have been talked about and ridiculed but the entire school on multiple accounts and it's terrible. Everyone in this school treats each other terribly, this place has no sense of communication. When a student asks for help in a class we get responses like, "pay attention in class more" or "we've been going over this for a while you should know it by now". The school does not care about the education of their students, instead they are more worried about if their shoulders are distracting others from looking at the computer screens that they put in front of us for eight hours a day, five days a week. Students who choose to express who/what they want to be, have every right to do so. But any student along the way is allowed to have an opinion, an opinion in which that student is entitled to. They should not be punished for believing something. After all, just because someone is Catholic and they complain about someone who is athiest, do they get in trouble? No, because it's what they believe in. This school is trash, and lunches are terrible. I've resorted to getting a salad almost every day because they try to make us "healthier" by getting rid of salt and replacing it with pizza every other day. Athletics are favored. If you're in football, you have less punishments because God forbid you miss a football game at the start of the season. Just this school year there has been three gun incidents. They do not give anyone information of any type, instead they allow us to worry in class and not know anything. Teachers talk to students about other students and I see that as an invasion of privacy. Students talk about other students, and sure, that's life, but it makes people dread walking through hallways. The school does absolutely nothing about conflict of any sort when they should be working to ensure the safety and well-being of their students. It seems that every week there's a new rumor going around about how this person did this with that person. People constantly make jokes about suicide, rape, cancer, and threaten to shoot up the school. How can those be acceptable things to joke about? But instead the school is too worried about flipping water bottles at lunch and having to clean up water if it happens to not be closed all the way. This school picks and chooses the wrong battles to fight and minimized the effects that events are having on students and their outlook at the school. This school definitely needs a change.

The school is a joke. A student got a teacher fired for telling the truth about genders. It was one of the best teachers HERE! Not to mention also got 2 students suspended for expressing there opinion. They express there opinion on how genders 'work' but we can't express are views. Total nonsense. Transgender students act like there better then everyone and should be treated with more respect. You get flipped out on if you call the students the wrong name. Yes, people change there name. Not sure if they do it legally. Some days they want to be called one name and then other days it's there name they were BORN with. The students here are just crazy. The things people do here are just stupid. There are very smart kids here but there's to many students that are just stupid which ruin the school's reputation. The teacher's are alright. Some teachers don't care your education and don't really do anything. They get everything online and just hand it out. The New Tech program is just a failure. They didn't introduce New Tech the way it was supposed to and if you ask any student, a majority of them say they hate New Tech. In most classes it's always projects with other students. Why have to rely on other students! Some students never work and to get stuck with one of them sucks! Also if a student if gone the day you are supposed to present some teachers make you present both parts! Computers are a joke and are students get distracted (me included). Many students can find the answers to assignments online which makes the assignment pointless. There are a few great teachers but just some aren't very helpful. It really sucks that in the future there will be only more technology in schools. The students are disrespectful towards the property of our school. Vandalism in the bathrooms. One student vandalized the outside school with an APPLE. Like seriously. Now to the school lunches. Just horrible. There has been students that got a baked potato to find maggots inside! Also a student found a tooth in his food! The lunch ladies are very nice but the food quality isn't so good. I understand the food costs a lot of money but at least figure out better options. There is always some sort of pizza there serving. The only good that is good is the 'Grab-n-Go', which is where they sell chips and other snacks. Other than that the food here is basically trash. They also lie about things. They told us one day that we are having a lockdown for an outdoor threat. From what I heard It turns out they just wanted to search lockers? Why lie about a series matter? I could tell that something was right because no one was freaking out and there was no information when the lockdown was over. Also the students that drive to school are insane! There is an accident every week! Students have road rage. That's my review for this school and I highly suggest going to another school.

WORST SCHOOL DISTRICT EVER!
Staff rude and don't care about you
They drug test people for no reason
The bathroom has pee on the floor, and poop smears on the wall
They give you a computer and tell you to get to work
There discipline system sucks
School lunch is a disgusting blob sometimes with a green shade on top
You get detentions for the smallest things
Kids smoking in bathrooms
The school threatened to sue me, lol wtf?
