Friendly staff who is willing to help you practice Spanish, if you are so inclined! Tasty frescas. Great presentation. I thought the food was just okay, though. Place is busy and parking is extremely limited. Outside is nothing special and looks a little sketchy, but there's a nice atmosphere inside. Colorful decor. Music was fun and at an appropriate volume (you could hear it but still have a conversation).

The food here is great. The tacos Hawaiians are really tasty and come with a lot of meat. I had the Mango drink which was spectacular. The only reason I don't give this place five stars is because of the service. The waitress took forever to get our order and then disappeared. She did not return to ask if we needed anything. I even had to go to the hostess to ask for our bill. If it were not for the great food, I would go elsewhere.

First time here and the food was delicious! The service was awesome! It was a friend's birthday and the staff made her feel special! Will be back for sure! We were at the Tempe location!

The customer service by one waitress was so bad, she ruined my order and never brought me my correct order and didn't serve our drinks until late. She dangled a similar order, a carne asada quesadilla, in our face and told us no you can't have it because we ordered chicken. Even though we were willing to take it she said no! My husband's bilingual and I don't speak Spanish. I asked her if she spoke English because I didn't understand why she wouldn't give us the food and what happened to our drinks. She said no. Yet, some Anglo-Americans sat next to us and she took their order in English. I have supported Mexicans and understand their hardships, it's a shame the act of one racists person portrays a bad rep for their people. I don't think I will return to a place I onced enjoyed. No thank you lady.

Horrible service and the food they brought us was horrible. My son ordered a carne Asada quesadilla and they brought out a half cooked flour tortilla with a teaspoon of dry old steak and the cheese was not even melted yet.
They scoffed when I asked for it to be heated more so at least it would melt.. then they brought it back and it was burnt black on the outside as a sarcastic nod to a reasonable request. Horrible food and service. Recommend Ladera down the street.. it's about the same if not cheaper and light years ahead in quality and taste..response / report this review -

Really extensive menu covering everything from ceviches and and shrimp cocktails to huaraches, tortas and tacos. They have a great drink menu and serve some of the best aguas frescas I've ever tasted - pineapple, strawberry, watermelon and others. The chilaquilles are fantastic and they're served all day long. But if your main reason for coming here is a torta, this place can't be beat.

Mind blown! Best Mexican food of all time! From the chips n salsa to the ceviche, to the ridiculous quesadilla the waitress recommended! Excellent service, friendly staff, and super clean! Best of all, the prices weren't bad at all! Everybody needs to try this place!

Great authentic food. The tortas are out of this world. I have been going here for years and only recently started venturing to other parts of the menu. Needless to say, I'm not disappointed. Great food, friendly staff and great prices.

Their tortas were delicious!! Well worth the drive the only thing I can complain about.. is that they don't have fries as sides its chips. Their drinks are so good you can even bring in your own drinks to mix them with your beverage. They only serve beer a believe. They have great service our waitress was always checking on us if everything was okay or if we needed anything.

Usually love everything here. Food drinks are excellent. Hated that when we had a party of five they charged a gratuity but didn't show it on the handwritten bill.. not good.. also if we'd asked for a table for four and someone else showed up late would they still charge. Their "policy" is only posted on a small area on the front of their menu. Who looks there?? Server could have definitely clued us in
