Lola has great food and fantastic service in a very unique setting. One of the best restaurants in Cleveland!
Main courses home runsmoked pork chop w . Polenta is a large and very tasty dish. My wife loved sea scallops. My niece loved the halibut and her parent their sirloinall good portions and quality. I like my appfig and prosciutto was good but would have preferred prosciutto freshly shaved and not like bacon. A wee bit heavy on dressing. I did not have desert but the others enjoyed their desert. Service was attentive and polite. A very nice room. Excellent wine list from top end to bottom. Would go back in a heartbeat !
I like food. As in: I eat a LOT of food in a LOT of different places.
This place is just excellent. From the food to the service, I was just totally pleased.
Best meal I've ever had! The service was so friendly and really made you feel like a priority. My boyfriend surprised me with a dinner here for my birthday and it was honestly the best meal we've ever had. The food was amazing, there's nothing like it.
We were lucky to get a table here on Friday night - a last minute reservation. It was absolutely worth it. My rib eye steak was cooked to order perfectly. I also enjoyed their squash soup (a special that night) as well as their Lola fries. Delicious. Mike enjoyed Dover sole, filleted table-side. He raved about the side dish of potatoes and onions. Our server, Dominick, was great!
Excellent cuisine in a great location. Everything thing was well done and perfectly paired. The cocktails were also perfect for the atmosphere. Protein heavy menu and there is nothing wrong with that.
We came to Lola's for the first time to celebrate our anniversary. We had the most amazing experience thanks to our waiter Dominic. Other than our main course, we let him decide on our appetizers, desserts and wine. Thank you Rachel for the very memorable experience!
I'm not sure what has happened to this place. We come here about twice a year, once for our anniversary and usually once more when my father in law is in town. First off, they've completely changed their drink menu and the Kentucky Gunslinger, undoubtedly the best drink, is no more. They wouldn't even make it as a custom drink, so I opted for the Lola cocktail that tasted tart with a sour milk aftertaste. Not good. Second, I ordered the hanger steak medium and received it rare if not raw. The brussels sprouts had no flavour other than burnt sprouts. My husband's lobster came with a sauce that didn't taste of anything. The crab bake (it's listed as crab CAKE on the website???) had barely any crab in it but at least it wasn't imitation crab. It's a shame because we've been going there since 2012 but tonight has really put us off going back. It's pretty sad for us because it's been our tradition to go there. I hope they see this and train their chefs on how to cook a steak at the very least.
Really fantastic food and good service. The private room in the basement is great for larger parties or business meetings.
Great experience. The beef cheek pierogies are great! They also have very good cocktails. The gunslinger was delicious.
I didn't have a reservation and was a single diner, yet they gave me a table with a great view! The sea scallops were delectable and the service impeccable.
In my opinion, I love this place. I have been to this place many times, and every time the service was great and the food was exceptional. The people there always have a smile on their face. All in all, this place is AMAZING!
Amazing atmosphere! The Lola fries are a must try. They are so addictive and if you are planning to share, I would suggest getting your own because they are that good. They have an awesome cocktail and liquor selection. The bone marrow is a must try. Although not a typical entree, the duck is really good and worth trying.
