This is basically a path along the I&M Canal, usually pretty quiet and peaceful. The landmarks are a nice touch, giving historical facts about the canal's history.

In the spring/summer months, there's not a lot of obvious exploring to do. The plants and tall grass is grown thick and tall. I haven't explored during the winter/fall months, however. Regardless, it's a beautiful location with one dead-end road that serves as the main access.
I have wanted to explore this place for a long time and only got to spend a short while here when I visited. I photographed a local band for promotional photos here and they turned out great! The field provided the perfect backdrop . The fact few cars drive down the main road through the preserve also let me take some shots of the band on the road safely, which also turned out great.response / report this review -
