This is basically a path along the I&M Canal, usually pretty quiet and peaceful. The landmarks are a nice touch, giving historical facts about the canal's history.
Waaaoooow great plants!
wonderful and safe great to take walks alone and the children love it
Despite industrial setting, pretty area and lots of aquatic birds.
Was really interesting tour, the plants and wildlife that you would normally walk past and really taking the time to look at nature
In the spring/summer months, there's not a lot of obvious exploring to do. The plants and tall grass is grown thick and tall. I haven't explored during the winter/fall months, however. Regardless, it's a beautiful location with one dead-end road that serves as the main access.
I have wanted to explore this place for a long time and only got to spend a short while here when I visited. I photographed a local band for promotional photos here and they turned out great! The field provided the perfect backdrop . The fact few cars drive down the main road through the preserve also let me take some shots of the band on the road safely, which also turned out great.
Great place to take a walk or do a little running.
Good
