Food was ok, weak drinks and very much a chain style resturaunt. On the plus they are open when most places close and friendly staff.

Fast, great service. Food was delicious! I got the fried shrimp tacos. First impression when walking in wasn't great but they have an upstairs that's spacious, air conditioned, decorated nicely and with a bar! Would definitely come here again

Normally my boyfriend and I are bar and grill people when it comes to choosing restaurants, but since we were by the lake and at the boardwalk we switched it up. Lobster in the Rough was clean, has a nice atmosphere and our waitress Sarah was fantastic. My boyfriend I just order the large appetizer plater which was more then enough for two and prices were great too. We did wish that the large plater came with a seafood side like fried clams or breaded shrimp since it is a seafood restaurant. Other than that a great place to eat.

All the other reviews here seem to be misleading-- came on July 4th, place was very busy. Service was great, food was abundant and very good, the staff friendly and attentive-- not to mention it was a steal.

Food was really good, "rough seafood platter" is definitely more than enough for one. The grilled haddock was delicious. However service was spotty, only had one set of cutlery, had to grab some from the table nearby

We had a 5 pm reservation for 7, including three kids. Didn't get served till after 6, and when we arrived it was practically empty. Even worse, our lobster 'tails' were fried balls of lobster meat, not at all what we expected and the new, student waiter forgot to ask us how we wanted them prepared. The whole lobster was pretty good, but overall a bad experience.

Food was great ! The service was great also. Best onion nuggets ever. I had grilled handock with rice and broccoli . Terrific ! We can hardly wait to return. You will not be disappointed when you go.

The worst possible greeting, the door guy was in the juice, rude as heck. Omg, they dropped the Mac and Cheese on our 2000$ camera and then only waved our 18$ entree. They apologized but too little too late. The lobster roll was amazing though.
