Taylor and Esteban came to my home to install a new chandelier in a 25 foot foyer ceiling. This chandelier had been sitting in the box for months because I had not been able to find anyone to install it in such a high ceiling. These two guys were awesome. They were on time and very professional. They assessed the install thoroughly before deciding that they could perform the job safely. The estimate was fair and on par with another company that had provided a quote but did not show up to do the job. The new light looks absolutely beautiful and I’ve had no issues. I highly recommend this company for electrical work and installations.

Finally a service business that treats you well! this company has the friendliest technicians I've ever been in contact with! They keep you up to date with anything that happens with your services and are always honest about exactly what you need to get you a fair price. This will be the first service company I've ever joined a membership of.

Needed my water heater replaced and the plumber that did the work noticed my house was not grounded properly. He recommended Lightning Bug Electric. Jacob came out and explained everything that needed to be done. Went to work quickly and cleaned up after the job was finished. Quality work.

Lighting bug Electric is absolutely amazing I called on a Tuesday told them what was going on and what I needed, they sent out Sam and Cody who was outstanding and professional they give me a diagnosis of it was going on in my house (needed a new panel and breakers). We set everything up for Saturday but next day Wednesday they called was able to come right out and fix my problem. I am thankful for them to keep my kids and I safe!

Have used Lightening Bug twice. Very responsive and efficient. Tech both times was Anthony. Very knowledgeable and a nice guy. Asked him to give advice on a couple issues I forgot about that weren't on the original work order, No problem. Price seems to be fair.. I recommend them.

Update 9/17 . Called Lightening Bug for multiple issues -- replacing can lights, removing fans, etc. Jeremy and Taylor were great. Very knowledgeable in giving us options. Worked quickly and efficiently. Very nice guys.

Leo, Sean and Matt are the best! We had them install outlets in our media room, hang a billiard light, and install an outlet and mount our TV above our fireplace. After chatting with Leo about surge protectors, he informed and helped us decide to install surge protection on the entire house. These guys are professional and affordable! We had a previous estimate that would have cost much more. Leo saved us money by telling us about the "Bug Club" - Opting to join, included a home-wide, electrical safety check! Additionally, Leo, Sean and Matt were personable and great to work with! They truly love what they do! Leo may write his checkmarks backwards (haha) but he is the man for media work/advice! Although we previously had our equipment installed by the company we purchased it from, Leo toggled around and ensured all of our components were set up to their best standards upon the Lightning Bug team doing the electrical work! We will definitely call on them and refer others for future electrical needs!

After having my condo inspected as part of its sale, I needed some outlets and a faulty breaker repaired. Bobby came out on time, walked me through what was needed to get up to code, and had everything fixed in under an hour for a more than reasonable price. Of all the electricians I've used over the decade plus in owning this condo, Lightning Bug was the best. I highly recommend them and will call them again for future work!

We've had a few electrical issues pop up over the last couple of months and we called Lighting Bug based on reviews on the Next Door App. We are very satisfied with the knowledge and service provided by Jeremy.

Prices were reasonable and at no point did I feel like I was getting some kind of hard sell. We had two crappy fan remote switches replaced and a surge protector added to our fuse box. All this was done in under 2 hours.

I easily recommend these guys and they will be my first call on future work.

Also of note - Jeremy arrived at our house at exactly the time scheduled

We got Bobby and James as our electricians and they were so nice and really knowledgeable. Very passionate about lighting, wiring and doing quality work. I used Lightning Bug Electric for my ceiling lights and breaker box. Tom and his colleague did a wonderful job on my ceiling lights! I couldn't be happier! Henry Henderson did a remarkable job on replacing my breaker box. He made sure everything was perfect and in working order before he left. He was competent, trustworthy, well-mannered and a hard worker. I definitely recommend them to my friends and family and I would use them again.

Wow - amazing service!!! I had another company come out this morning and quoted me on my fix - something didn't seem right so I called Lightening Bug to get a second opinion. Jeremy came out this afternoon and was fantastic from the moment he got here. Explained everything in terms that I could understand and even reviewed the first guys quote and told me what that company was trying to charge me that wasn't needed. Needless to say - Jeremy and Lightening Bug got my business today! It was completed in about 15 mins and so incredibly simple!! They are now going to be my go to electricians!! Thank you for being a honest, trustworthy, and easy to do business with company!

We used Lightening Bug Electric a little over a year ago when we first moved into our house and needed some work done. We were so pleased with the work then that we didn't hesitate to contact them for some additional work (install a new exterior light, new outlet in the hardwood floor in living room and putting in an exterior outlet on the front and back porch). I was really happy to see Bobby and James again this year, they are such a pleasure to work with and I was just as pleased with this experience as I was with the last. They are professional, courteous, efficient and extremely knowledgeable. Maintaining the same level of customer service every encounter is important to us. We will continue to use them for our electrical needs and already have several future projects in mind.

To preface this, I did not hire this group for my service upgrade.

I recently decided to upgrade my electrical service from 100 amp to 200 amp. I researched the work needed and the estimated cost involved in this work. I called multiple electricians and had them all look over what was needed and gave estimates. All the other electricians were pleasant and informative with similar cost estimates, except Lightening Bug Electric. Not only did their electrician talk to me like I am an idiot, he gave me wrong information and over quoted me by just under $6,000. He spent all of 90 seconds in my house and measured one wall. He asked me what I thought it would cost, I replied $3K-$5K. He laughed and said something along the lines of you don't know anything. After his very rude and unprofessional attitude, I called the county inspector and confirmed the list of items needed to for an existing service upgrade. The inspector mentioned that this electrician was possibly thinking that he was setting this up for new service vs an upgrade. Needless to say, first impressions matter greatly and I will not be using Lightening Bug Electric, ever.

Get multiple quotes and research your project online. Customers need to protect themselves from deceptive tactics.

They arrived at exactly the time they said they would and proceeded to do an amazing job. The technician I had was Bobby and he was extremely knowledgeable and explained the situation to me in a very professional manner. He also addressed some other electrical issues in the house and wasn't pushy about upselling me and but said it wouldn't be a problem for another 5 years. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to other people!!!

We had just moved into a new house when we started to lose our outdoor outlets. One call to Lightning Bug Electric was quick and easy to set up an appointment that was convenient to me. Leo and Josh came out quoted me the service price and went to work. They were both very courteous and professional and had my problem solved very quickly. Definitely will be my go-to service when I need electrical help!
