The accountability, the motivation and the continuous movement and challenges makes working out a great experience. Facility is clean. Trainers are knowledgeable.

My first experience with this fitness center was horrible. A personal trainer set up a complimentary appointment at a specific time and date but he was now where in the club of the appointment. I contacted his boss Ryan who hang up on me. I left a message for the general manger but she never called me back. I called corporate and complained about this experience and I am still waiting for the outcome of my complain.
This is a horrible and unpleasant experience.

I would give 0 stars if I could. This gym is filled with liars who are just out to rob their customers. Over a year ago I signed up for a year contract from January-December. I realized months before my year ended I wasn't able to make it in as much as I expected. I tried to cancel early but I understood I was under a 12 month contract. They told me I had to come in Jan. 1 2018 at the earliest to cancel my membership. So I did, today I went in attempting to cancel like they had told me. Instead I was billed again for a 13th month and they said there's no way around it. They told me it was the earliest I could cancel but even after speaking with management, I could not get an explanation as to why or a refund? I don't understand how any establishment can get away with voiding a contract and not even being able to refund their mistake. This gym is an absolute scam and they have forever lost my business and anyone I know.

Even though I have never been a member of Life Time Fitness, nor, knowing what I know now, would I ever be, nor would I ever recommend this facility to my worst enemies, I feel that it is important to share my thoughts. This past July an elderly woman passed away in a toilet stall but was not found until nearly two days later. I get that s#!t happens, and though it is tempting to think that an early enough response would have saved a life, it is probably unfair to blame the facility for the death. However, for a person to die in a public place while remaining unnoticed for a couple days is inexcusable. I know for a fact that any business open to the public will clean all bathroom facilities at least once daily, often multiple times, though how often and how thoroughly is down to prerogatives of management and depends on the nature of the business.

REMEMBER that this is NOT a 24/7 facility. They have set closing and opening times, almost 24 hours, but not entirely. They close once a night for 3 hours for no reason other than to be able to perform deep cleaning and maintenance, among other needs. If a guest is found in the restroom after closing, then the employee has a responsibility to alert them that the gym is closed. This whole "respect for the privacy of our members" excuse is a ruse! If nothing else, the fact that one may literally die in this facility only to be found days after is a strong indication of the carelessness, inattentiveness, indifference, and negligence of this pitiful excuse for a club. It tells us how often they clean the bathrooms.

Very clean facility, nice staff. They refused to refund me my dues after they have a policy on which they refund all fee's paid within 30 days. Called corporate and got it after weeks of arguing with management at this location.

Very friendly staff specially the group fitness instructors. They are helpful and not above their heads.Every one should try Monday strike with Bethany and Mary's TCX on Tuesdays.Yoga instructors are great as well.I can't say anything negative about the club except the few slob members who think they have their own housekeepers to cater for them. They do not belong to any clubs at all as far as I am concern.Hey dudes take a shower. You stink the whole place and you have the nerve to blame the place.Another instructors very worth their salts are Janet and Jessica who unfortunately is no longer teaching due family affair. It is a shame Bernie (yoga)is gone a very motivational instructor.

I have been a member of this club for several years. Exercise there 4th times a week. Something is changing with this facility, it is declining. Elevator is filthy, halls are not clean. Lately we have had days when there are no towels available. It is expensive to be a member. Is the management falling down on the job? Sharron Moskal

Amazing facility/ kids academy. I travel frequently with my 4 year old and have been to dozens of Lifetimes. This one is consistent with the LT standard. Yani in membership sales was so helpful and the counselors in the kids academy were amazing. I can't even name a select few, they all were amazing! I can't believe there are bad reviews on this location.

I have been a LifeTime member for years. We recently moved to Burr Ridge and what a shock this facility is. Filthy facility and rude employees. I cannot believe how ignorant and disrespectful the emplyoees are to paying customers. The overall attitude and feeling of the facility is awful. The aquatic staff is probably the worst I have seen. After years with LifeTime we will be dropping our family membership. If this facility were anywhere but Burr Ridge, it would never survive. This facility preys on the facts that Burr Ridge and the surrounding areas have higher income residents and there are not many other gym options. I would not even give it one star.

I"d been a member of Lifetime Fitness for more than 10 years(Minneapolis) and also very loyal to it . I moved at the end of last year to Illinois and ,unfortunately, Burr Ridge is my closest location. Lap Swimming is impossible between 2 pm and 7:15 Pm.The Junior Olympic size pool is full with elders from 2 to 5 pm who most of the time refuse to share lane so you have to wait some times for more than 30 minutes for a lane to be available. Then, If you get there after 4:15 pm swimming classes start occupying all the lanes and what is worst the the young swimming teachers are very poorly trained by management. There is a rule for lap swimming " never get into an occupied land without letting the person/people already swimming know you are entering. Do this by dangling your legs into water or standing to the side at the end of the lane when they are turning. At LTF Burr Ridge the coaches instruct the kids to jump in to the pool to tell you to get out . Never mind the locker rooms where you have to wait, most of the times, more than 5 minutes to be able to get to you locker. I thinking of driving extra time to try an other location ,otherwise, I will have to enroll with another company
