I really love this place. Wi-Fi is strong. Plenty of seating. We bring the whole family and sit to read books, magazines and use the internet. It makes for a great activity with the family. The folks that work there are so kind and helpful. Anytime I've ever asked for help they've gone above and beyond. I highly recommend this branch. We don't live in Leon County so I'm clueless on their checkout policies, but it's a great public facility.

Readily, reading and relishing the results of my research is remarkable really. Reading is radical. Rain Drop, Drip Drop.

Went in to get a library card- all you need is proof of address in Tallahassee and a photo ID, very simple and easy process to sign up and I'm excited to come back! Very organized and a good, quiet place to study. Family friendly and great selection of books. (Their book store is worth checking out too)

I'm fairly certain that all of the librarians in this library are aliens. I'm in the process of gathering evidence to confirm my suspicions. But for now I can say that only an alien would place Charles Bukowski next to Charlotte Bronte in the fiction department. Even Melvil Dewey himself wouldn't place Henry Chinaski near Jane Eyre. Only an alien lacking a human's emotional reasoning would allow a dissolute character like Chinaski near the tender Eyre. I will post more about this later. Be aware visitors: attend this library with an alert friend at all times (if possible).

I can most of the books I wish to read. It's an awesome place for book lovers. They have WiFi, PC and also print facilities over here.

The library is beautiful (though I very much miss the Oak tree) and very well stocked with a variety of books. As I read mostly fiction, I can't speak so much to the number of recent non-fiction titles, but I am a very happy patron (unless I park for more than 30 minutes, then, not so much)!

I do want to mention, however, that I'm very UNhappy with the high charges instituted for parking at the Main Branch (my regular stop) -- they seem ridiculously high, and injurious to folks on a tight budget who come to use internet -- with the usual wait times -- and do research for El-High term papers, and receive tutoring. What the heck's up with THAT?

Great facilities--not only materials for loan, but public-use computers, meeting space, wifi, etc. Staff are the best! Youth services librarians there have been steering my son toward stuff he genuinely likes for years and don't look at me funny when I browse the kid's graphic novels section, either (I'm a fan.)

Delightful! The staff is always ready to assist with whatever is needed. The layout of the library is very functional with the children's department tucked over to the left on the first floor. The reference staff is always willing to find whatever is needed by the patrons, the circulation staff very efficiently checks out the library items, answering questions; and the computer/media staff is ever ready to help with any issues. I have never had any problems using the online search and hold features. Of course, the gift shop is filled with great sales as well as very friendly staff and volunteers!
