Had to get replacement glasses for my daughter,she had just received her original pair in November of 2017. Called LensCrafters back and spoke with them, they quoted us $279 for the lens only, we purchased new frames online. When we got to the store that $279 became $535 and after a little disgust from our end the lady offered to knock 20% off bringing our total to $428. I didn’t want to discuss it any further and wasn’t much in the mood to haggle over glasses as if I am trying to purchase a used car. So we asked for our prescription and now we are sitting at Vision Center in Wal-Mart getting the exact same lenses put in for $179. So if you are reading this review and have an over abundance of money that you would like to donate to LensCrafters then go with it. If you are like me and every other hard working American you may want to shop around before purchasing your eyewear from LensCrafters.

Had a wonderful experience Rebecca and Lily were amazing. I have been in there numerous times and every time I have had a pleasant experience with everyone! Would definitely recommend this specific lens crafters!!!!

Me and my wife went to the Hamburg Lens Crafters and have to say it was a wonderful experience. Dr. Wang saw both of us and was very thorough with our exam. The staff was very helpful and professional in helping us to find the right glasses for us. My wife has had a very difficult time everytime before when it came to getting the prescription right for her eyes. Not this time, she was able to see perfectly out of her new glasses. I highly recommend Lens Crafters at Hamburg in Lexington, Ky.

Excellent through eye exam would have rated the exam at a five star. The experience of purchasing the eyewear was less than pleasant. The staff was not very friendly and seemed a bit arrogant. The frame selection was terrible. The one size fits all approach cost them a sale.

Very very nice people and we're willing to help even though insurance would not cover. Awesome store manager who helped us with pricing. Every employee did their job and did it well!

I had 2 pairs of Ray-Ban sunglasses that needed to be repaired. They told me how to get the new Ray-Ban brand lenses and installed them for me. A different eye glass business wanted to charge me approximately $150 to repair ONE of the sunglasses. LensCrafters helped me find a solution that fixed both pairs of sunglasses with Ray-Ban lenses for ~$50. I will definitely come back when looking for my next pair of sunglasses.

I went here three years ago and just remember today why I won't be returning:
My glasses had a flow line in the middle of the lens so I was seeing a "ghost" image all of the time. It looked like a fuzzy line in the middle of my vision of the left eye. I took the glasses back to have this corrected and they just grounded down the lens. This gave me an incorrect prescription but I believed that they knew what they were doing. For the next month I had terrible headaches caused by the mismatched prescription. I took the glasses back a second time and they gave me a new pair. This pair has the word "TOP" embedded in the glass with a symbol that looks like the power symbol on your computer. They told me that "Oh, that will wear off." Again I believed them and now, three years later, I still have the words on my lens (it doesn't affect my vision as far as I can tell) but when I saw those words today while cleaning my glasses I decided to call and cancel my appointment for next week. There are much better places to go.
Pricing and customer service are important but if your product sucks, it just doesn't matter.response / report this review -

Rudest eye doctors office I've ever been to. Very poor communication skills and customer service. They will treat you like you're a problem and a bother. Totally unprofessional attitude, they literally argued with me on the phone for 20 minutes and then when I finally got to explain what I needed, they realized that it wasn't a problem. The only reason I went there was to have access to better brands of glasses, but it was NOT worth the disrespectful and incompetent service that I received.

We came in to get glasses adjusted. The lady who adjusted our son's glasses was terrific! She spent extra time fixing the length of the glasses so they would fit behind his ear. My daughter was telling the employee all of the things she had been learning about the eye in her science lab class. The lady took the time to teach her about some diseases of the eye that she could take back to her class and share. Great experience!
