I am a parent who is very disappointed with this school. With the exception of a few really great teachers, I would have to say that too many of them are just going through the motions. Too many worksheets and not enough independent thinking. I have found many staff members at this school to be unsupportive and rude. Both students and parents are treated with a lack of respect. The Principal doesn't seem to feel like he is accountable to parents. He has been rude to me a few times now. I don't know how he gets away with it. The county should do something.

Not a good school at all. It's a school where they allow sexual harassment to go unpunished. It's a school where verbal harassment has gone notice without any punishment. It's not a school that I would wish for my nemesis' children to attend. You have teachers exclaiming that they have the right to be racist to whomever they want. Also, teachers sending students to ISS for no reason whatsoever. If you breathe in their direction the wrong way you'll be kicked out of class. Forget equality. Lely is such a biased school. A colored student can work as hard they can and they would still not get as much attention as the students from Marco Island no matter how dumb that Marco island student is. This past year alone I've almost got ran over by a student (purposely) , harassed every you can think of, sent out of class for disagreeing with a teacher's opinion, and for standing up for my belief.without anything done by our so called "assistant principal and/or The principal. In order for a sexual harassment case to get the attention that it deserves it has to reported over and over again. Fathers/Mothers keep your sons or daughters out of Lely high school. Your sons will be taught to abuse women and that it is okay to do so. Your daughters will not receive the equality that they deserve. As well as the RESPECT they deserve. Lely home of the Trojans more like Lely Home of the Unjust.

Thank you for your high standards re standind for respect for flag and anthem. Takes guts in this day of not teaching respect for your country religion etc. U have my respwct.
