Would never plan a stay here, but it was there when I needed a place to park the RV to get truck repaired. Nice people, just not a destination.
Only place we could get a spot with no reservations.
No complaints, really. There aren't really any alternatives unless you want to be out of the city. But all in all, it was close to town, no hassle getting booked and setup. You will inevitably have to deal with the smell of pot around your camper though.
Right in town, so a plus for convenience. Pretty tight spaces, good for RVs but only a small area to sit outside. Wifi and electric is included. There are paid showers. Very close to bar across the street which was noisy on a weekend night.
I wish the snow removal was better. Wifi is pretty weak. Aside from that, no major/serious complaints
Stayed for a few days. A mixture of full time and recreational campers. Located in the downtown historic district. Quiet at night even with the local bar across the street. Close to everything in Leadville. 30 mile drive to Frisco, Dillion and Silverthorne. The owner was very kind and made me feel like we were friends. Didn't just give me a map but explained and reviewed all of the local sights and places to see. I am definitely adding this stop to my "gotta go back" list. Thank you Rudi!
this place is a little rough around the edges, but the owner is super cool and the location is unbeatable. the bathrooms were clean and the laundry room worked just fine.
Bullshit. Made a reservation & it was confirmed in January for August. Called 2 weeks prior to verbally confirm and told "we are full. Sorry, but we are full" BULLSHIT!
*********TERRIBLE RV PARK*********
loved it, until the owner showed his true foreign colors. DUDES A DOUCHE! shows no mercy
Will never support this place again, EVER.
Doug and I were very eager to take a trip to Colorado to see the mountains for the winter. We are always very selective when we choose a place to stay in our 1976 24ft restored Midas RV. When we do, we always stay for a month or more for the best discount. Leadville RV Corral was perfect. The view of the mountains can be seen from every window. Rudy, the caretaker, was so polite. He was very helpful by personally giving us printed materials of all the museums and local shopping in town. This little campground has everything you would want. Internet..4G Blasting.Cable TV 50 plus stations..laundry with plenty of washers and dryers.clean and nicely decorated bathrooms and showers. VERY DOG FRIENDLY. Very kind neighbors. We love it.I know you will too. We stayed last winter in Buena Vista, CO. I think Leadville is a much better fit for us.
