  Andy handled a case for my wife after she was rear ended by a large commercial vehicle.
  
  Being an attorney myself who also does some personal injury, I was fortunately a sophisticated consumer as far as selecting our attorney. The easy part was making the rather obvious decision about avoiding an “advertising lawyer” PI firm. The harder part however was I personally knew more than a handful of excellent personal injury attorneys who could more than competently handle my wife’s case.
  
  However, given that this seemed destined to be a big case (and in fact ultimately involved multiple surgeries), I also knew there were only a select few who could get absolute maximum type dollar out of the case. Not to say Andy is literally the only one who could pull it off, but ultimately there really is a very short list, and he certainly is at the top with anyone.
  
  After almost a year and a half of litigation and just before our trial date, we finally settled with our carrier for an amount above our highest expectations. There were certainly opportunities earlier in the litigation to take a “very good” settlement, but Andy always stressed the goal was to get the absolute most we could get, or try the case in front of a jury.
  
  On top of the dollar and cents resolution, the client relationship with Andy was always pleasant and informative. He gave us all the necessary information and then some, and was quick to respond to questions. To be fair, I knew Andy personally for some time before he took on our case; however, I am quite confident I would have got the same personal service if I was a stranger to him when the case started.
