Not too happy with this school, as there isn't many hot teachers (with the exception of Mrs Smittywerbenmenjaggermenjensen of course)Not enough Magic School Bus and Reading Rainbow in curriculum. Also does not have separate periods for Minecraft Coding, as South Forsyth does.

They fill you up on chips and salsa and then bring you completely oversized entrees. Bathrooms needed cleaning and it was always very busy even though everything tasted like garbage. 2/5 would not recommend.

Lambert is generally a very good school for the academically successful. For those struggling academically, the teachers typically make themselves available for extra help both outside of school hours and during "lunch and learn." The school has a large population so it's not difficult to find and make friends for those who are not too socially challenged. The sports programs are excellent and there are walk-on teams for people who are not athletically gifted. The number of clubs and the large population at Lambert makes it very easy for people who have niche interests to find fellow students with similar interests.

Culturally, the school is fairly tolerant, at least in the gifted classes (Honors and AP). Most students, however, do tend to spend most of their time with their own racial or ethnic group.

Lambert caters specifically to the academically inclined with a good ability to focus. The classes are very traditional for the most part, with a teacher lecturing while children take notes. While this style of learning works well for me and many of my classmates, it is not optimal for some, and that can influence their interest in learning. The lecture style is probably the most efficient though, so its value cannot be understated, especially in classes where a lot of material needs to be covered.

A more general criticism of American schooling is the lack of specialization allowed in studies and the lack of usefulness of much of the material. Lambert does allow kids to specialize to a certain degree, but I still feel as though many of the classes are not aimed at preparing kids for the workforce or real life, but rather to take a test and forget what was learned almost immediately after the information is no longer necessary. Lambert is probably better than other schools, though, by encouraging "career tech" elective pathways which encourage children to start studying subjects that will actually be useful in the workforce.

I would personally prefer if Lambert would force students to use practical workforce skills more often in the classroom, like public speaking, critical thinking, problem solving, writing, reading, etc., and spent less time doing things that most people don't actually ever use as adults, like making pretty posters. But I can't complain too much. I enjoy going to school here, and most things that they do are great.

The school itself is clean and new. Technology is not used extremely often, but it's difficult to get by without some sort of internet connected device at school.

My biggest criticism of the school is the frequency of cheating. Students are under a lot of pressure from themselves and their parents, so they often turn to academic dishonesty to be successful. There are huge cheating groups at LHS. Nearly everyone does it. Frequently, students tell other students what was on the test or they copy answers. Even when caught, there are rarely penalties for cheating. It is a serious flaw with the school's administration and punishment programs.

Lambert is a fairly academically competitive school, which puts a lot of pressure on some children to perform well. I think this is a good thing for most kids, but certainly not all.

Overall, my experience at Lambert has been mostly positive. Most of the teachers I have had have been good or great. The network of clubs and sports offers something for everyone. I like most of the students as well. Thus, I rate 4 stars.

Difficult learning environment for certain learning styles (little one-on-one feedback from teachers, which is understandable and expected in a school of ~2500 students with 25-35 students per class). However, the school is a generally nice place. Very modern atmosphere and kind and accomodating teachers and staff.
