I would not take a family member there the ratchetness that goes on is unbelievable. I never seen a scheduler that goes out on lunch break and get her hair done and don't return. I never seen a MED Tech go get there nails done on break and return. ALSO never seen a Nurse not give the report and you have to ask for it or remind them about it.

Tom McCausland made the experience of admitting and caring for our Mom seamless. He was extremely flexible and empathetic throughout the process. Soon after, our Dad joined Mom and it was handled equally well. Managing through all of the variables for aging parents can be overwhelming. We're grateful for Tom's approach and attentiveness.

I was happy that we found a nice place for my mother, when her dementia got too much for my family and I to handle. However, my mom has passed away and we have yet to receive any type of condolences from the facility, other than verbally from the memory care director. She has been the only one who seems to care. Very disappointing from a facility with such a good reputation.

We have been so happy with everyone at Lakeside at Mallard Landing. The staff has been amazing! Jen has been so helpful and made the process so easy while we were getting my mom settled in. Jen has also happily answered all of my many questions. My mom’s apartment is the perfect size for her to get around. The common areas are absolutely beautiful and my mom has been enjoying the bingo. I’m so happy my mom is in such a lovely, safe environment.

Mallard is an amazing assisted living home. My father adjusted quickly and enjoys the socialization, lunch outings, and activities. The care and comfort to residents is always a priority. The food is great, extremely clean, nice rooms, and all around great place. I feel comfort knowing he is at a Mallard.
