  Owners are quite friendly and helpful. However, we arrived last Sunday for a 10 day stay. Office was closed so had the resident helper to show us to our spot. The park was built in the 50’s, and the road in it is not wide enough for today’s super duty trucks or larger campers or fifth wheels. We had a VERY tight squeeze on the way to our spot, and because we had to swing very wide to avoid hitting a Jeep, our wheels got stuck in the soaked grass and mud. Luckily, a neighbor had a truck to help pull us out. We did not stay for our spot was in the same muck , and we lost our $50 deposit due to no fault of ours. I do not recommend if you have a vehicle or rig on the bigger side.

  This is my 3rd year coming to the Lake Wales Campground and I love it here. Very friendly and professional staff and great seasonal rates. It's in the middle of the Florida peninsula so your about an hour from either the Caribbean or the Atlantic. Most stores are about 5 minutes away. Really great place to stay for the winter!

  This place was by far one of the nicest campgrounds I've stayed at. The people are lovely, there's dogs, and ducks, and an indoor pool area, a library, a game room, and shuffle board indoors. Also a laundry mat and very well kept clean facilities. Little far from Publix and other things. But lovely little place. Stayed multiple nights due to Hurricane Matthew.

  my wife and I have done a lot of travelling and stayed in many places but I must say this is the best and friendliest park we have ever stayed in,,,the owners , Helen and Nick Stone go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable the park is not a big one so you get to know everyone in the park.the grounds are always immaculate and the grounds always look clean and fresh..on a scale of 1 to 10 we would give them a 10+,,,can't wait to get back this fall,,,gary and carol firlotte

  This campground shows pride in cleanliness and proper working conditions. We have been there maybe 10 times in our tiny 10 foot Lil Sport trailer that only needs electric for lights and AC so we use the tent site up front which is directly across from the pool that we use and is why we go there. We also use the fire ring with a provided wood pile next to where we camp and we enjoy a fire that is a rarity in any other campground. The pool is always clean and all the surroundings are clean and comfortable with the management being friendly and very helpful. We come out from Riverview whenever we can get away and only stay 1 night but we get our pool's worth of swimming and banging around a beach ball that is provided. Bathrooms with showers are clean and have plenty of hot water. A great place to get away for a day or a weekend. There are quite a few permanent residents as well.

  Many trees and lovely indoor pool with spa. Also have covered shuffleboard.
