This place is great for young kids. There is so much to do and see here, you could easily spend more than 1 day. We had a great time and will be back again.
The Ride Through Safari is quite nice however the animals that are not in the Safari are kept in subpar conditions in my opinion. One of the Bears was completely miserable agitated and pacing. The female lion was limping very badly and it seemed as though no one was doing anything for her. If it weren't for the fact that my mother-in-law is obsessed with this place I would never step foot on the property again.
Love the care and attention the animals get here. We have visited zoos everywhere in PA and this is one of the best in knowledge and care of their animals. Enclosures are large, appropriate and clean. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. We go several times each season.
Just because this place is smaller then the Baltimore zoo doesn't mean it's not worth your time. This place is awesome! Great hands on for our children. The best part was the bus ride. Got to touch the huge animals. A must stop!! It'll be worth it.
Such a great place to go with your family. They made some changes and added more restrooms, and another building that has food, ice cream, subs, and sandwiches. They built an area just for the safari tour. A good place to go before they close for the season! Had a lot of fun and so did my son.
So much fun for me and my family!!! All of the animals were amazing to see and interact with! From the petting zoo to the safari ride it was all a great experience! My personal favorite part of our trip to Lake Tobias was the safari ride, while on the ride animals are everywhere! They walk up to the cart and are available for everyone to touch and feed while listening to a brief summary of the animals natural habitat, food preferences, and so on. Do beware though, it is a rather bumpy ride in the sunshine, slather on the sunscreen and watch out for antlers of the animals nearby, they tend to swing them quite a bit. This was a very enjoyable trip and I hope to go again soon!
Nice way to spend an afternoon outside with family or friends all for a really reasonable price. The cost to get into the park plus take the safari tour is under $15 total. The safari tour was fun the kids really enjoyed it. our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the animals and the grounds. Animals walk up to tour bus which was a cool experience. There's a cute gift shop, food area, plenty of parking, petting zoo, reptile house and more.
It's a nice place for 4-6 hours. Lot of animals, well kept and clean. Star attraction is the safari bus tour which is totally worth it! The animals get close to the bus, one can feed them carrots etc (which you need to buy from there). Tickets are reasonable. Reptiles are limited but nice to watch. We missed the reptile show.
Great zoo, especially considering the price and the fact it is never extremely busy. No waiting in lines except maybe 10 mins for the Safari tour.
Great family place for a great price! Safari tour is a must! We go every year!
Awesome place! The Safari tour is great and you can buy food to feed the animals. They also have a petting zoo and other zoo exhibits. They also sell for there. The food prices are between 5-9 dollars for combo meals. Admission is $7.00 for ages 3 and up 2 and under is free. The Safari tour is $6.00 for ages 3 and up, under 2 is free. Parking is free. They also have a military discount free park admission and Safari tour military ID required. It's great for all ages and worth checking out! You won't be disappointed!
10/10 I loved this animal park. animals well kept and very nice staff! Good Price Too.
Awesome place. A wide variety of animals and at a super reasonable price. Don't waste money at overpriced zoos. This place is just amazing
