This would be a 5 star rating any other year, but in 2016 and 2017 the camp host is a very rude couple that has ruined the campground. My family has been coming to this exact site for roughly 20 years and always had a wonderful and enjoyable time. 2016 had a new host couple and our experience was horrible. We came back this year and the same host couple was there and was able to ruin our family vacation within a few minutes. We have talked to the management company already. My advice is avoid this campground until this host couple is gone.

You are basically camping on the side of US2, honestly the worst campground in the state. Only two sites can even see the water but almost all can see the highway. No idea how so many people can give this a good review, I left after one night even though I paid for two, honestly DO NOT bother camping here you will not be pleased.

Beautiful and serene. Can't beat the sunsets on Lake Michigan. 4th of July watched 8 cities fireworks. AMAZING!!!

Beach here is amazing. We camped here last year as well. They have some really cool camp sites close to or overlooking the beach.

great spot for camping, but you will probably be able to hear cars and trucks driving on the highway next to the campgrounds. I would reserve a spot on the side that is closest to lake michigan, you will get your own beachfront campsite. you really don't want to be stuck on the side that isn't next to the water
