Wonderful place to go snowmobiling perfect place to stay at close to restaurants and bars staff is very friendly rooms are clean well-kept very good place to stay
Reasonably priced, clean comfortable rooms.
Very rude and sarcastic. Would discourage anyone from going there
Reasonable prices, redone bathrooms. ( Hot front desk person)
Good clean motel for the money, Very friendly owners, Gas station next door, Home town Breakfast Spot across the street, and JW,s BBQ and Brew in walking distance is was Excellent! Thank you for the accommodations for our fall Motorcycle Color Tour!
Basic motel, clean, cheap (55$) for the night. No air conditioner, I would use this motel again
Restaurant across the street has some great food, and gas station is close by.
Room number 1 has a very strong and unpleasant smell, I think cat urine, that has been attempted to be covered up by air freshener. It's late and we need to get up early or I'd go somewhere else. It's hard to rate anything else fairly because the smell is so gross.
This place is not new, renovated or spacious, but do not feel reservations, make them. I've spent my childhood summers and now live in northern Wisconsin, and while my hobbies have changed from snowmobiling and fishing to kayaking and hiking, this place is perfect for all the above. "TV, Hot Water, Heat" the sign says; while those might be something I haven't thought about in a while, this is the place to stay. You will love staying at the Lake Gogebic Motel if you love telling stories with your buddies or co-workers about your weekend adventure fishing on Lake Gogebic, snowmobiling, or hiking the Porkies. It is older, rooms on the smaller, but the new adventures and awesome stories make this the place to be. Give it a try -- you might have to leave a voicemail, but Casey, the owner, will call you back.
