Rooms & hotel were great but the food sucks in restaurant, the snack bar is good in the casino area. The casino is a waste of time. worst slot play in the area

The casino is great, I love the assortment of games and I have a few favorites. I always have fun and it is nice to get away there for a night or two. The people who work there are always more than helpful and nice, always friendly and willing to answer questions. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable. Its in a quiet town with beautiful scenery and even some local folklore.

Have mixed feelings about the place . the male employee working the front desk ( roger) seems to have an poor attitude. The lady employee was very helpful. Stayed 4 nights and wanted to enjoy the bar. Couldn't get a drink in the bar because ( what seemed to be) we were not native american. The bartenders both male ( was told he was the manager) and older skinny lady totally ignored us. We tried for 20 minutes to get a refill on our drinks, we ended up going on the casino floor to get a drink. Next night we used the back bar in the casino. Great bartender. Following night tried to get a drink in the main bar. Ignored again while the native americans were getting served at will ( bar only had 6 people in it on a Friday night ). Asked house keeping to make up the room on the 3rd day. They didn't make the bed, didn't vacuum the room ( but they made sure that they left the tip envelope on the desk), a dirty plastic cup was left on the floor, bed spread was left on the floor. Ate in the buffet on Thursday for the comfort buffet. We were there when they opened. The food was cold and I ended up getting sick that night. The menu said meatloaf, there was no meat loaf on the buffet.was told that the pork chops were replacing it ( but pork chops were also on the menu) can one say false advertising or bait and switch. We are up in the U.P at least 4 times a year and always come to the casino. We will start going to island resort casino instead maybe they know what customer service is ( did go there before and enjoyed it)

Overall it is ok. Newly remodeled and renamed but nothing special. Clean, spacious, and not smokey. A separate room full of video poker. Table games don't open until 3:00 P.M. We had their prime rib & shrimp buffet but had we not had a buy one get one it would not have been worth it.

Newly remodeled casino and some renovated hotel rooms make it a lot nicer. Better pay out than baraga for sure. Food is good, all home made desserts and the pizza is amazing.

We only have taken advantage of the casino floor, not the dining or resort. They have recently remodeled. It's a dimmer atmosphere than it was before, but the silhouettes of northern wildlife that decorate the perimeter are a nice touch and the tables and chairs appear new and clean. Lots of slot machines are available it that is your thing. The pit has a variety of games but it is a small amount of tables. Something to note is the craps table. It's scaled down and looks ridiculous. The night we were there, there were 3 blackjack tables open. A $10, a $5 and a $2!! $2!! Dealers were friendly enough, drinks were reasonably priced and the cocktail waitress was doing her job in a timely fashion. It's not Vegas, but for a Northwoods casino is provides entertainment for a rainy day or a night out.

Stopped in just to use the bathroom.
Sat at a slot machine to blow $10. Lights & Bells started going off. I won $200 on a random machine pick!! Two yrs later, 1130 pm, passing by and stopped in again. Won almost $800 in less than 30 mins on nickel slots. I live in Colorado and was only visiting the UP.

Nice rooms but old model t.v.s free WiFi is a plus, nice dining and good live entertainment as well as nice frosty beverages. A must stay on your list of casino visits

Lots of options for play. We stopped in just for dinner. After a very long day of checking out local waterfalls, it was this or sandwiches in our room. Service was amazing and I would definitely recommend to anyone. Pricing was also extremely reasonable, and we actually expected the bill to come to more than it did.
