One of my long-time favorites. Through changing chefs and wait staff, the service and quality has remained top notch. This is a spot we take out-of-town guests for a fine dining experience.
Delicious Italian food with outstanding service in a cozy setting. We had a great time at La Tavola! We arrived with a reservation and waited only for a couple minutes to get our table. The waitress explained kindly the menu options and specials.
We started with the olive plate, which was excellent. I had the Squid Ink Spaghetti and she had the Gnocchi. Both were fantastic. The portions were large (we barely finished our plates, and had olives to spare).
The prices aren't specially high, with pasta dishes ranging from $13 to about $20. Fish and other plates between $15 and high $20s.
Excellent experience :) I'm looking forward to coming back!
Consistently good. Party's of more than 4 can be a problem. Great date night location. Not really set up for children unless they are very well behaved and can sit in their chair the whole meal. A little pricey but worth the money.
Great Italian restaurant with tasty food and attentive service. Love the pork cheek appetizer a lot! Very tender meat with apple puree which adds a great flavor. The veal entree was awesome as well. The zuppa was OK, the shrimp in it was not that fresh. The chocolate dessert was AWESOME! Thanks for the birthday tiramisu.
It's like being in Manhattan!
Really extraordinary.
REALLY good !
One of my Atlanta faves! Service is always incredible. Wine list and cocktails are great! Highly recommend the Salumi Board with cheese as a starter. Always a crowd pleaser :)
Absolutely fabulous! Jill gave us great service and the food was exceptional!!!
Great evening!
Lived here in the Highlands many moons ago. This was a fave and easy go to neighborhood joint. Passing through the ATL and had to hit it up, and introduce the daughter to the goodness that is La Tavola. Was not let down, the food simply extraordinary. The service wonderful & gracious. They haven't lost a beat in over ten years. Tremendous and wish this were in Nashville.
I have been coming here for close to two years. I love their great food and friendly service. My favorite continues to be the bone marrow, but I have recently discovered that the chipotle wings are just as fantastic. For dessert i strongly recommend the bread pudding. To drink their sangria pairs nicely with most plates. But be prepared to drink up cuz the smallest serving is half a pint. This will be one of my favorite spots in GA for a long time.
Awesome Italian food, great atmosphere and excellent service. Food is full of richness, aroma and flavors. We enjoyed delicious spaghetti, ravioli, ribeye, grilled calamari, bread and olives. Desserts were super delicious.Food was of high standard and quality. We enjoyed our time spent here.
Classy Italian restaurant with superb service. Located in the middle Atlanta best restaurants. Enjoyed veal and calamari dishes.
La Tavola has, hands down, my favorite bolognese in the world. The service is always top-notch and I have yet to have a bad meal.
Though reservations are hard to come by, if this restaurant got much bigger, it'd lose some of its wonderful charm.
This place is located in the lobby of the building where I work. I am finally getting around to writing a review. While it is a little pricey, this place offers solid and consistent breakfast, lunch and dinner fare. Today i ordered a burrata omeletdelicious and well constructed. The pasta here is also phenomenal. I really have not had anything bad. I come here frequently for coffee in the morning as well. Love having a solid coffee option in the work building. This place gets busy around lunch time, so call ahead for your food.
Had an amazing company dinner here, what a great experience. The menu was fixed but everything was great and there was a great deal of variety. The drinks were great and mixed properly. The staff was over the top polite and attentive. The place was very clean, we had tables in the balcony over looking the back of the restaurant.
