Lovely hotel. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. I did the sleep park fly package. The shuttle dropped me off and picked me up in a timely manner.

I have stayed here a few times now because of weather and work/time constraints. The first time I stayed here one employee went to great lengths to make me comfortable. Richa is a very friendly, enthusiastic individual. This stay she remembered me when I came to check-in. She is the reason I have decided to stay here when the need arises.

The rooms are quiet and clean. The beds are comfortable as I can actually get a good night's sleep

Our connecting flight out of O'Hare left before we landed so we got stuck for the night. The airline put many of us at this hotel for the night. The ladies at the front desk were amazing! It took me maybe 10seconds for me to check in and there were 11 off us all at the same time taking 5 minutes total at the most. They made it so efficient and easy so we could all get to bed as soon as possible. The shuttle driver was a little difficult and the shuttle was a plain white van making it difficult to find but the desk made up for it.

Extremely nice staff. The room was very clean. Enjoyed the cookies in the lobby. The only things not so great were, the coffee pot in our room didn't work, & the side door didn't work when coming in.

Place was horrible for 90 bucks a night. Checked in then pulled to the door and keys don't work on half the doors. Then saw dust everyplace. Get to the room and instantly you smell mold. Located a huge amount of mold behind toilet. Then I notice what look like blood splatter on the wall. Called the front deck and the lady had no others rooms avail and offered no solution. I slept on the top cover the weekend. Paid threw online and didn't have money to go to another room. Was there for a Basketball tourney and new no one in town.

The trash and debris was visually a mess and smelling. The hallways is very unsanitary and appeared it has not be vacuumed for weeks. The ceilings is falling down and made a big mess. The breakfast was plain. The back side where all those trash was a total mess and dirty. Not worth the money for what we paid for.

At this time LaQuinta/Hoffman Inn is not ready for a positive rating yet. Price was low with our discounts of AAA, military, AARP..etc, I guess i shouldn't expect more. First of all when we arrived there was no signage at all, front back or side. Arriving at about 8:30 pm we found less then positive looking people hanging out on a bench in front of the door. Being from a small town we were less then happy to leave our car for the door until all was clear. The place looks like there is construction underway from the debris everywhere we looked from the entrances to all the parking lots. It really was a mess. Check in was quick. After checkin and making our way to the external entrance we came to the alotted door near our room. we had to walk around stacks of construction items next to and in the way of walking up to the door. Entranceway was dirty and all carpeting was filthy with dust.
The room was dated but at first looked clean. After entering the bathroom, we washed the toilet area. The seat has urine spoted on the underside of the seat and on the floor in front on of the toilet. The floor of that bath appeared like it needed a cleaning but I think it was just old and needed a whitewash. Dont expect anything other than soap and shampoo, no cream rinse or lotion. The carpeting was a medium greenish color and all around the room was a dust trail, where the vaccum didnt catch, that should have been sucked up with a hose afterwards. There were visable dust wads all over. Furniture was dated but clean. The heat was quiet and adequate. The bed had a corded edge that was annoying, but the bed was adequate. The hall carpeting was filthy and huge spots everywhere, i wish i had a photo of that.
Breakfast was adequate but lacking. There was juices, coffee, muffins, toast, cereal, hard boil eggs, apple, waffles only. Both I and my husband had the waffles nut they were raw with the time allotted on the timer, aargh. we are used to the LaQuinta standard that we werent aware of the takeover to Hoffman Inn. Thankfully there was a Pancake restaurant eight next door, wish we went there.
My thoughts are dont go here until fully restored and cleaned up.

Nice, comfortable rooms. We enjoyed the outdoor pool. Great value for the money at about 45 minutes to 1 hour from downtown Chicago.
