I have also tried to use LKQ in the past ans the problem is they wont tell you what they have over the phone. At least that has been my problem. I checked the website and they have the correct year and make of vehicle, but can't tell me if the interior is still intact or what model or options. I need to drive 40 miles to get to the place. If I drive that far I want to know that the part I am going to pull is there, not "You will have to come in a see if it's got what you need. We don't know". If you're running a salvage yard I would think you would have an inventory of the vehicles on hand. With these new things that are out there today, called computers, you can keep inventory listings on them and you would not even have to go out to the yard to see if the vehicle had an option or not. I have given LKQ multiple attempts to win my business, as I do all my own repairs as well as many of my neighbors, and will not be attempting to try again.

I bought something on ebay and opted out for the shipping, decided to get it myself and save the $100+ shipping fee ( yikes ). I honestly did not know what to expect due to the overwhelming amount of negative reviews they had. So i took the 2 hour trip and when i arrived was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the front desk employee. He greeted us and let us know where to go. When I got to the receiving building i was once again greeted by an employee washing auto parts. It took them 20 minutes or so to bring out my order and release it to me. The guy even helped me load it up and when i was just about to drive away one guy chased us down and gave me my I.D that had fallen out. Great experience, great staff. Thanks for everything guys!
