Way over priced drive 15 mins farther down route 2 to Paul's AutoYard in Westville and everything is like 75% cheaper plus you call and they can't even give you a price when you call they tell you to come in and look at them first and then won't even let you out in the yard to look at them horrible service

Horable company. They have a 20 dollar minimum, so if you want a small piece of plastic that's 20 dollars. And not friendly people.

Horrible company. Stopped by L&W Auto Salvage to recycle some aluminum cans. Pulled up to the scale and waited for about 10 minutes till i walked inside the cashiers office only to find nobody there. Waited a little longer and a woman came out of the back and finally scaled my truck. I unloaded all of the cans, scaled my truck out again and went to the cashier to be paid. Only to find out she said she would not be able to pay me with cash but a check. If i wanted cash i would have to drive to Valpo Transmission to be paid. I argued that she could have told me that before i pulled onto the scale. She proceeded to tell me to "go F**K myself". This is some awesome new management you guys have running this place. Ill be making more trips to Metro Auto Recycling even if it is all the way on the other side of town. These people don't know sh*t from shinola. Absolutely worthless

Dont let the message from 6 months ago fool you. The new management is just as bad as the old one if not worse. 100lbs of metal here is about 50 to 60 percent less then every other scrap yard in porter county. I would rather drive to gary then go here.
