Very high end quality food! The service was great. They always checked to see if we were alright and never let our drinks run out. Superb service! Also brought my wife a free dessert for her birthday of which she raved about how good it was. Great place for a date night and they were very accommodating for our large party group. Thanks for a great evening and dinner!

Great food and service. Had soup and pizza, the daily specials. Also liked the atmosphere in an older building. Located on a block with good shops.

This small restaurant is a beautiful and warm place to eat. It's not very big but that's what makes it very nice. The service is amazing, along with the food. I would HIGHLY recommend eating here. Especially for a date with that special someone.

The second visit was even better than the first. Best filet I've ever had and it just melted. My husband's scallops - like butter, just melted. Nice atmosphere. Perfect dinner to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. Looking forward to next time. Much closer to CR than Chicago for a dinner this good. Kudos to the chef and cooks. GREAT FOOD.

LMay’s is our favorite restaurant in Dubuque. We had a Rehearsal dinner in the lower level and it was perfect! The room is private, the food was delicious and the staff was courteous, efficient and so nice to work with. I highly recommend!

I wish i could give more stars the place is absolutely amazing. I had my reception here and not only did the owner work with my husbands unpredictable schedule, but the food, staff and envirnoment was AMAZING.

Great atmosphere, and wonderful food! Small menu, but generally, that means the food is well thought out and prepared. We were looking for something that was a good representation of downtown Dubuque, and L.May didn't disappoint! Great gluten free options for my mom, and she was super pleased with their gluten free pizza crust! If you want a good experience, definitely try L.May!

This was an amazing dining experience, possibly one of the best I have ever had. Amazing service and some of the best food. It's not cheap, but the food you get is fantastic making this still a great value. Daily specials and featured wines. Spot on service with a cozy and yet no too loud atmosphere. Excellent location for a romantic date.

I love this place. One of my favorite restaurants. We eat here almost every time I visit my in-laws. Everything from the service, to the salads, to the entrees and desserts are fantastic. Never disappointed.
