Absolutely love this place. Been going here with my family since a small child. Quite place to grab a bite. Great drinks and amazing ribs. Definitely have to check out if in Dayton.

Soup was cheap and tasted that way. Apps were microwaved. Food wasn't fresh or flavorful. Service was great. Atmosphere is beyond dated, felt like eating in an old dark dennys. Still looking for a place where the cooks want people to enjoy the food.

Great food. This is an excellent place for a great family meal. Took my grandma here for here 85th birthday, because it's one of her all time favorite restaurants. One visit and it's easy to tell why! The ribs are always great and so is the chicken. The dining experience at this restaurant gives an upscale feel that I have never been disappointed with.

Disappointed. A co-worker recommended this place. Although the service and atmosphere were great, I come for the food. No brisket available so we had ribs and chicken with the sides. The meats were just average-nothing special here. I do better in my back yard. And the sides were just reheated can food. Will find a better bbq spot.

Drove up from Cincinnati to eat here. The quality of the ribs was I remembered years backexcellent. The one thing I would suggest is to cutback a little on the mustard in the barbecue sauce. Overall; good dinner at a good price.

The good first. The atmosphere is relaxing and chilled. The staff was super nice, and there's an obvious history here, which is nice to see. The prices are really high in my opinion and the food is okay but nothing special to justify the prices. My last gripe is that they prohibit lawful CCW carriers from carrying here. Please understand this place is in Dayton, the Heroin capital of the USA, just because this part of the street is nice doesn't mean the occasional crack head won't go on an adventure.

I've been going to this place since the late '80's. The service is great. The food is typical of an old-school steak house. Salad, baked potato, and some kind of steamed vegetable are the usual sides. The ribs are great, and the process they use to cook their steaks makes them come out delicious every time. I used to dine there or order carryout at least once a month. Then, the business was sold. The food has remained consistent, but the prices have doubled in the last 10 years or so. I understand inflation, but the price you pay for what you get has gotten unreasonable. Their largest steak (other than the 20 Oz sirloin which the server will recommend against) is only 14 Oz and it's $28. Until the late '90's, the 13 Oz t-bone cost around $12. The food is great, but if you're going to spend $40 per person after drinks, you may as well go to the Pine Club and get what you pay for.
